Description: A pale and thin man, with hazel eyes. His bony fingers always seek to toy with something whenever the opportunity arises. Serapion is neither tall or short. His hair is cut short and his otherwise handsome face is mildly scarred by pox. Thin lipped and with high cheekbones. His appearance belies his hidden strength. His beard is infrequently trimmed, and often unevenly, when he does it himself. His clothes are kept as cleanly as possible, despite his lifestyle.

Personality: A former scholar who's trying to live up to the ideals of knighthood. Serapion is trying to follow the virtues of the Pantheon while also staying true to his heritage. Serapion understands well the notion of pragmatism and that the right thing is not always the smart thing to do. However, because he lacks practical experience as a knight, he tends to look to the past for the answers. Serapion's inexperience also leads him towards caution, which is easy to mistake for cowardice. He hunts for knowledge and dreams of a keep filled with history books that he can spend the rest of his days in. But he's got a long way to go.

Background: Serapion was a scholar for most of his life. His parents knew he was a smart man and sent him off to study under Vellichor's priests. Serapion, however, grew fascinated by the tales of warriors. He knew that he lacked the skill with a blade to become a proper knight and put aside his dreams in favour of his passion for history. Serapion spent much of his days as a scholar. Learning, teaching, and recording history. However, when he was thirty one, he was thrust into battle when a ship he was traveling on was raided at sea. Serapion used his knowledge of history to help the sailors repel the boarders after the Captain was killed. His actions earned him a knighthood. Now he sets out on his own path, hoping to emulate great heroes of old and find a new place in life. To combine his scholarly pursuits with his dreams of being a great warrior.
