Denica is charming her way into the kitchens with the pretense of rummaging for snacks. In truth, it's a bit of legerdemain intended to compromise Donrai's elite guard with a taste of Halsim's poison in their meals.
Result
Denica is a remarkably charming young woman, and she's able to apply that beautifully to distracting the staff as she slips in Halsim's poison into the food for Donrai's Elite Guard. While not strong enough to kill them, a sudden wave of illness does reduce his guard from the usual dozen down to a mere two by the time the conspirators go to confront him.
