Action by Eirene
Mirrors are often backed with silver and seem to reveal truths of occult things. What happens when you back a mirror with Alaricite? Eirene wants to find out and test various strange samples (the famori skull, elfbane orchids, the paw of the Hunter, a mask made with the face of a Mirrorborn (from Talen), whatever else she can get her hands on) to see if the mirror reflects anything out of the ordinary. She also studies the reflections of herself to see if anything unusual appears. (Object is in my inventory).
Result
Eirene goes about this in a methodical way. First the silver mirror, then the alaricite one. She has assembled multiple objects that might have other people quailing in horror (really, a mask made from the skin of a mirrorborn?) but not Eirene. Not when this is important.
And so she goes about it, looking first at the reflection in the traditional mirror, and then the alaricite one. Certainly the alaricite mirror takes a little less polishing to make a shine. The reflection looks a little clearer. But there seems to be no difference in what is shown between silver mirror and alaricite.
Huh.
