Description: Barik is a broad-shouldered figure of lanky physique and a thin, frequently excercised waist. Naturally athletic, yet lacking in any hints of strength to assert him a warrior, he poses as an average figure, for an average people. Despite such, his physique remains coarse due to constant travelling, and being exposed to the outdoors. His hair is a raven black color, perpetually cut short to a natural swoop of a combover that inherently swings right. Disenchanting, muddy green eyes stare beneath two bushy, crowded brows, with a nose most certainly broken at least twice crookedly sitting between them. The appendages of his arms are wide; his fingers are long and rotund.
Personality: Barik is obscenely sardonic and grim, with little patience for the plight of the common - or not so common - man and only so for those who promise him a bite of the proverbial apple. The innocence of youth long evaporated him into a perpetual state of cynical disconcert, appraising each and every passing countenance with visible skepticism to the on-looking eye. When speaking, a coherently gravel-like voice speaks, yet its pacing remains gracious; its nature roguish, and deceitful.
Background: Barik's life begun in the Western oathlands that belonged to the Kingdom. His family was one of proper means- his father an auspicious, and beloved bard who went from home to home leaving little crumps of happiness, and sometimes more than that. His mother wouldn't complain, he always came home with coin, and for a woman who had spend her whole life in poverty it was sufficient for her. The inherently independent Barik took to hunting rather than singing; he took to trekking through the wilderness and adventuring to far-gone townships rather than inherit the legacy set by his lascivious father. Since his departure from family grounds, Barik has been on a quest of acquiring meaning- meaning that hasn't been manifested, yet hopes to find in the very Capital of the continent.
