Shadow and Gold

Near the Merchants Gate and in the Upper Boroughs, it was reported that briefly there was a sudden shadow that pitched the entire Upper Boroughs into darkness, as if it was suddenly night. It's been assumed that a freak sudden cloud completely covered the sun, and it lasted no more than a moment, so most are paying it little heed as anything more than a bizarre incident. There was the sound of an explosion of a wall breaking somewhere in the Upper Boroughs at near the same time, and some say they saw something streak across the sky, but have no idea what it was.
