Tongues are clucked at more and more individuals crassly abstaining the use of champions and dueling themselves or grabbing anyone not formally a member of the Guild. It's unseemly in the eyes of the peerage, suggesting the individuals involved are either so bothered by the trivial that they felt compelled to see to it personally (shameful), or they are indifferent to the proper traditions of the Compact, and are practically prodigals. Those not using appropriate champions for entertaining honor duels are looked down upon.
