Ford(RIP) was just given a huge legend adjustment:
While much attention is being paid to Prince Victus for his proclamation, and with good reason!, there are no few people who note that while his Grace has promised to end thralldom in seven years, there is one who ended thralldom with the stroke of a quill. Sure, Marquis Ford Kennex may have beggared his house and put the Compact into dangerous financial waters, but there is no question that what he did was definitive and, in the end, proved to be a boon to Stormward. His death has helped to wash away some of the more questionable parts of his life, and that he died while surrounded by so many former thralls that he himself freed has made many see him as a peerless abolitionist. To those who seek liberation above all, Ford Kennex has become a martyr to freedom.
