There has been a strong surge in the harassment of prodigals and neo-nobles in the city of Arx. Many peers of the realm are openly hostile towards prodigals and neo-nobles, and not just among the ranks of the firm traditionalists. The latest war and the potential of a schism in the Mourning Isles has frustrated peers blaming prodigals and those spurning tradition as the cause of difficult times ahead. Dame Irisa Wainryte had an ugly incident when a retinue of House Warwynd men-at-arms looked like they were going to assault her, only to back off at the display of her diamondplate weapon. The Iron Guard has reported a large rise in disturbances, with quite a few more assaults within the city.
