Heroes of Pieros Bay

The crushing victory over Skal'daja in the Battle of Pieros Bay has rapidly become legend among the Arvani, with scores of stories told of the Compact's glorious victory. Thousands upon thousands participated, from highlords to the most common of soldiers and medics, but the rolls of honor call out scores of names for particular repute for their efforts at the battle, whether fighting, commanding, sailing or tending to the wounded. The Peers of the Realm declared at the assembly a list of names 'for Exceptional Merit, at the Battle of Pieros Bay': Lucrezia, Veronica, Margot, Mabelle, Kastelon, Haakon, Mikani, Raven, Ciaran, Katarina, Cirroch, Antonio, Leola, Pasquale, Mirk, Mihaly, Eirene, Lorenzo, Deimos, Raja, Tython, Acantha, Rosalind, Torian, Vitalis, Oskar, Gwenna, Valenzo, Scylla, Samira, Sabriel, Domonico, Varosh, Ivy, and Aedric. And then there are three who the peers believe deserved special recognition.
Sir Ari Corsetina, a Knight of Setarco, was singled out as emblematic of all the brave commoners that die under the banners of the Compact. His refusal to yield, bravely seen holding the line in battle despite suffering numerous wounds, was commended by all the soldiers of the Great House of the Saffron Chain that fought alongside of him. His death, with the name of his family and liege on his lips, has been held as an example of all a southern knight should hope to achieve in their end, and while the destruction of the enemy flagship following his death is still seen as a bizarre quirk of fate, some soldiers did mark it as a turning point in the battle.
Princess Liara Grayson, Princess of Bastion and Highlord of the Crownlands, is also recognized for her exceptional leadership during the battle. Directing the Crownlands forces during the thick of battle, and bravely leading from the front against Eurusi who also pointedly hoped to capture an exceedingly valuable target such as a highlord. Soldiers, particularly those of the Crownlands, credit her leadership with helping push the forces through against the Eurusi, and also decisively calling for the final crushing of the Eurusi so that they may 'never trouble our shores again' while declaring that 'The Compact Endures'. This has won numerous fans among the peerage as a stalwart defender of the Compact during a time when it has buckled. She is deluged by thanks, praise, and politely ignored unsolicited marriage proposals.
Finally the peerage recognizes Prince Sebastian Pravus, Voice of House Pravus, who along with Marquessa Tyche Inverno was instrumental in organizing the defense of Pieros and coordinating the forces of the Compact to smash the Skal'dajan threat once and for all. Many peers pale at the thought of risking their own holdings on a trap to destroy the Eurusi, and have tremendous respect for the leadership of House Pravus in doing so. The peers know House Pravus had hard, hard choices with the crisis, and deeply respect the ones they choose- and Prince Sebastian for leading his forces from the front during the battle, and acting as an exemplar for his family.
