Tempestuous Waters

Word slowly spreads out from the Mourning Isles. A new kind of cargo ship has been seen cutting through the tempestuous waters of the sea, one long and light with sails and masts much more similar to the ships sailed by the Cardians and Eurusi. It cuts fast and runs on the edge of the wind, maneuvering through the water like the Abyss itself is on its heels. The Arvani sloop.
The ship design was a product of the shipwrights of Blackshore, with Lord Romulius heading up the development of new sail technology, with the combined efforts of legendary smith Archlector Felix, Prince Galen Thrax and Brother Aelgar Navegant who put the developing ships through their paces (some of which are now at the bottom of the sea), Archlector Giada who handled the logistics and financing of the project, and the generous assistance of Countess Carita Darkwater and the shipyards of Darkwater Watch.
