West Streets of Bastion

While the reports that come from Bastion list many losses, there is word that filters through from the many that escaped through the streets and avenues to the Western Gate. While there are tales of screaming horrors armed with swords made of bone, and vines that crept over cobblestones to leave those they touched as ash, what stands out is a story of six heroes that stood their ground to buy the evacuees time, and to guide the fleeing masses to old tunnels and into safety after the Western Gate fell. It is rumored that the unlikely six were none other than:

Sydney Waterfall, whose prowess in the arena translated well against her foe,
Princess Lou Grayson, whose commanding presence calmed what could have been a stampeding crowd of -thousands-,
Duke Ryhalt Farshaw, whose calming voice and direction guided those same thousands into the tunnels at an efficient pace,
Acacia Culler, who found high ground swiftly to identify the scope of the crowd and guided her companions in action,
Lord Kastelon Keaton, who shot one bone-wielding horror in the face at a risk to his own life,
and a man who simply called himself 'the Queen's Blade', who herded the fearful and weary with grim stoicism.

With their help, thousands of lives were saved that otherwise would not have been, and it's to these six that they credit with helping them escape the terrifying attack on Bastion.
