The Faith of the Pantheon had near two thousand dead, in templars and knights of solace, almost all godsworn who have left their families behind. The Dominus Fawkuhl would never have given back to their former families, stating that it was simply the duty of godsworn to die for the gods, and they had no connection to the families they had forsworn to serve only the gods. Dominus Aldwin is a considerably kinder man. Despite the immense cost to the faith, he makes certain that the families that those men and women left behind still receive a pension, even though the faith was under no obligation at all to do so. It is, in the eyes of the Compact, a very unexpected kindness.
