The Ashfords certainly didn't need any reminders of Lord Killian to encourage them to stand strong. Now Duke Harlan Ashford reaches out to his vassals, his allies, and his contacts. Lady Olivia stands at his side to bolster morale, the loss of her sister driving her. She speaks freely of it too, asking their vassals to fight in memory of Lady Aislin and Lord Killian and on behalf of their own songs and daughters, brothers and sisters.
Marquessa Iliana Leary, Field Commander of the Leary Army has started mobilizing the Leary army to answer the Duke's call as well. The Leary Navy has been pulled from its wintering drydocks, and the Leary Logistics Corps has started establishing necessary supply stockpiling and route planning for the upcoming campaign. The Marquessa herself rides out to the Army to rally and check on the readiness of the troops. Not of a military mind himself, Lord Tomwell helps in spreading the word, using his influence with their vassals and armies to speak to as many people as possible to drum up support, reminding people of the importance of these efforts.
