Amidst the pushback from traditionalists and the impending civil war in the Mourning Isles, the Compact has been busy trying to prove their unity through various endeavors. The Festival of Friendship and Forgiveness begins at the Whisper Palace in Aviaron's Peak is one of the msot prestigious and well-attended parties of the year, with people from all walks of life coming together to celebrate. New medical facilities built by the Physicians Guild in and around Maelstrom, Sungreet, the Twainfort, Cloudspine, Highhill, Tresova, Stormheart and Southport expand the reach of medical care in the Compact. After all, everyone eventually gets sick or injured and needs tending to no matter where they are from. The Bard's College of Arx also opens new facilities across the Compact in in the domains of Houses: Eswynd, Pravus, Malvici, Seraceni, Amadeo, Fidante, Saik, and Redrain. It results in an exchange of musical styles and knowledge, including a truly puzzling song out of the North with a chilling refrain:
