Staff Announcement and Thanks

When we took on new staffers, we knew we needed to be more flexible about letting people keep their pcs active and engaged in the story. A lot of the fun of Arx is the fun of doing, and it's already asking a lot of staff to give up on the aspect of being surprised. As we all know, 2020 has been a rollercoaster of a year, and we are both grateful to everyone for their patience, and 100% supportive of people doing what they need to do to keep themselves as well as possible. Burnout is a real thing at the best of times, and these are not the best of times.
In the interest of making it clear to the playerbase who is and is not staff, and freeing up PCs played by current or former staffers to participate or idle as they like without engendering any feelings of uncertainty in those around them, we're deactivating the staff bits of a few people who have decided to take breaks, or step away, or have drifted off into what we hope are activities that are keeping them going in tough times. We are so, so grateful for all the hard work, inspiration, motivation and story these people injected into the game and hope they keep having fun, here and/or wherever they can find it. No pressure, all love.<3
