Fellow Citizens of Arx,
As a Councilwoman of the Commoner's Council, I stand before you. I hear and understand that there is an impending threat upon our city. There is a threat upon our freedom! There is a threat upon our way of life! How DARE these people seek to force us into servitude to their whims! Those of us with strength to fight, I encourage you to stand up for your families. I encourage you to bear arms against our oppressors! Praise be to Choice!
However, I also know that there is a good number in our population who cannot fight for whatever reason whether it be age, illness, or lack of training. Do not fret. There are many houses who have reached out to offer sanctuary during these troubling times. Some of these houses have already made public proclamations to their generosity. Some houses have not made proclamations, instead speaking to me directly to offer assistance. I beseech those who need help in finding refuge to send word to the council or to myself and we will seek placement for you and yours within the safety of these most generous houses.
