Commoners Council

Greetings, fellow citizens of Arx. I come before you as a representitive of the Commoner's Council. It has been some time since we last held an election. Sadly, as time went on, some of the council have stepped down, left the city in search of other paths, or even gone to the wheel. So, with the King's blessing, I come to call for an election to be had!
However, before we can have a vote, we must have candidates! In fact, traditionally, five have sat on the Council. Anyone can nominate someone, however only commoners can be nominated. Of course, it is perfectly alright to nominate yourself!
So, what is the Council for? The biggest part of the council is having a voice for the common people directly to the King himself! We can also do many other things like, plan parties, work on humanitarian efforts, and assisting in commoner based projects. Honestly, the potential is great for those who seek it.
For now, I will be taking names for nominations for the next week! (Last day 10/27) Then, the nominees will be announced and voting will open for the following week. (Last day 11/3) Only one vote per person! At the conclusion of the vote, the five nominees with the most votes will be announced and the newest council will be formed.
