To My Fellow Oathlanders

To my fellow Oathlanders,
These are indeed trying times, and I will not do you the disservice or dishonor of attempting to persuade you that the ills that befall us now are not the work of evil. Undoubtedly it is so. And we, as ever, are called upon to stand for the innocent and shield them from the darkness that tries to swallow Arvum. As your Highlord, and a Knight of the Oathlands, it is doubly my sworn duty to do so.
That said, I do believe that now is the time to come together to fight back against that darkness as one people, alongside the allies who join us. It will take ALL of us, together, to do this. Only once we have been able to face that evil and drive it back, will there even be the chance to determine who, if anyone, might hold the most responsibility for what has happened.
Until then, House Valardin only joins the fight of a Holy War when the Dominus of the Faith and the Carnifex declares one for us to fight. We have been called upon by our Liege to fight that which I have already spoken of, and our duty to the ideals of Limerance requires us to do so. They have called for no war against either the Lyceum or Setarco, so neither do I.
But rest assured, I hear you. We are ready and willing to speak to any of you with concerns.

We agree with the Highlord on this matter. House Telmar will not be participating in any Crusades and will focus on fighting against the actual enemies of the Compact.
