You're Not Alone

When the Compact decided to reject the offers of subjugation by Cardia and the Undying Empire in favor of making its own way, trusting in its own people, we were all warned, and we all knew, that this would be the hard road. It is always more difficult to cut your own path, rather than following in the well-trod footsteps of others. It is always more frightening to walk through dark forests without someone to show you the way.
I don't have a rousing speech to make any of this easier, but I do have this:
Copper believed in you. Ashe made you a promise. You may not have a bright guide to follow or a broad road to walk, but there's more than monsters in those shadows, and there always has been. We have not forgotten the promises that were made to you. You do not walk alone.
You never have.
Have hope for the dawn, peoples of Arvum, and however dark it gets, no night will last forever.
