ATTENTION CITIZENS OF ARX AND THE COMPACT - From the Desk of the High Inquisitor

As of February 11th 1021 AR, the House of Questions has received over 3,458 reports of suspicions, oddities, concerns, and accusations. All reports following the singular event that occured during the time known as Eclipse of Mirrors. There are concerns of dark practices and dark acts, and all flow from reports of blood filled rain. The concerns of the citizens are to be taken serious. The Inquisition takes these reports serious, but not every report can be acted upon immediately and without investigation. The time where the Inquisition acts upon whim and nefarious intent is over.

It is the mission of the Inquisition to protect the city of Arx from criminal elements and elements that seek to undermine the security of Arx, the Compact, and Avrum. As servants of the Crown, the cooperation of the Compact is necessary for the Inquisition to complete its duties.

Beginning 3/6/1021, new reporting requirements will be in place for all reports involving suspicions of crimes of a non-mundane nature. These reporting requirements are intended to foster not only the cooperation of citizens, but clear understanding that can be acted upon.

1. All reports must be accompanied by a certification that a White Journal entry has been made with the Scholars of Vellichor. Collection of multiple reports and statements is necessary for the advancement of any investigation.

2. Information is provided in confidence, but any individual providing information is required to provide cooperation for future investigations. Due to the inflow of reports, cooperation and assistance is required. The Inquisition trusts that the citizens of the Compact will do their duty to protect the denizens of Avrum.

3. Contact information shall be left for follow-up contact from assigned Inquisitors and Confessors.

4. Any disparagment of citizens providing reports and information to the Inquisition, regardless of the nature of the report, will no tbe tolerated. All concerns are welcome by the Inquisition.

Clear and concise information will be acted upon. Baseless accusations will not be tolerated. This is not an opportunity to utilize the Inquisition to further personal aims and goals. Any who do so will be marked accordingly. If a crime or wrong is uncovered with the help of a dutiful citizen, appropriate recognition shall be given.

All reports of magics, dark arts, demons, and other esoteric topics will be forwarded directly to the office of the High Inquisitor for review by the Inquisition and other servants of the Crown.
