People of Arx,
You are no strangers to danger coming your way. I saw how you faced the random attacks of the Bringers of Silence and then their Siege. I was here when the Gyre War fell upon you. You even stood strong when the Horned God threatened. Remember those times and draw strength from them. You have faced adversity and remain.
A new enemy, or an old one, now comes to destroy you. And I want you to all stand at the walls, give that enemy a rude gesture, and loudly shout, "Fuck you!" Don't give in, Arx! DEFY the enemy with every fiber of your being.
If you want to learn to fight, there's still time. Whether you have a quarterstaff, a walking cane, a shovel, a rake, a scythe from the field, your grandmother's knitting needles, or the sword your dad kept from the war; we can teach you to use it. Join us at Guardian Square. Join us at the Training Center. The Knights of the King's Own have been instructed to teach any who wish to join the defense.
We will defy darkness together, Arx. We will defy evil wherever it crops up.
