Giorgio Pontelaeus Honoured

House Proscipi honours Giorgio Pontelaeus for his act of bravery in Setarco.
Giorgio, the Merchant Prince of Tremorus, was born in the Saffron Chain. When Tremorus was attacked in the Skal'dajan war, the devastation was widespread. The city was left in ruins and its leadership dead. Giorgio Pontelaeus became Marquis Giorgio Proscipi of Tremorus and restored the city. After the rebuild, and with the support of the Faith, he stepped down and returned to his roots as Giorgio Pontelaeus. It was a selfless act, putting the betterment of his people before his own personal gain.
Giorgio was the protege to the Archduchess of the Lyceum and served as Voice of the Silver Consortium for many years. Giorgio honoured Gild in all things, and used his economic prowess to ensure that not only his family, but other families' lives from Arx to the Saffron Chain would be improved as well.
During the battle of Setarco, Giorgio's last act was to aid his allies by sacrificing himself. Facing overwhelming odds of the horde of Azazel, he was slain by a beholder, Blessed by luck, his final moments provided a brief respite for those he loved, and his body turned to a statue of solid gold.
Giorgio was a generous and brave man, with a beautiful sense of humour and unshakable inner-strength. His life and death were both marked by an unwavering certainty that in all things, he will choose self-sacrifice in order to ensure the prosperity of those around him.
