Dear the Compact,
Since I have taken over regency of the Twilight Court, many changes are in motion. Don't worry about them right now, you've certainly got bigger problems! BUT, it turns out we have a dog here, and he is lonely. So, if any citizens of Arx are concerned for their dogs or children, I will be opening a portal to the Twilight Court in your Shrine for Death in exactly 4 hours. If you wish the Twilight Court to extend protection to your dogs or children, just send them through the portal. I can guarantee they will be safe here (unless you lose and the world ends, then the guarantee might not be valid).
PS, while we will try to return all children and dogs to their rightful owners, I cannot promise your child will be returned if they express a wish to stay. I don't know what to tell you - you should have treated them better.
PPS, DOGS ONLY. No cats or snakes or annoying birds.
