Hero's Sacrifice

House Laurent was successful in the defense of its home, but not without great cost of life. Many soldiers perished on the field, ensuring that Artshall would continue on. In honor of them, House Laurent will endeavor to pay a monthly stipend to the families of our lost heroes.
Our family also suffered loss. It's with great regret that I announce the death of Lady Mabelle Laurent. She was our voice, in may ways our soul and spirit, and almost certainly our heart. She died in defense of our home, sacrificing herself to save everything that we hold dear. There's little I can write that will convey the depths of my grief at this time.
We are here because of her, but we are less without her.
