Question: The section and topic may be a little off, but here's a question. What is the thematic (IC) policy of Godsworn and a House's ministerial positions. Can a Godsworn fill the role of a Minister in a House, so long as the two duties do not come into direct conflict? Is it frowned upon? Is it deemed perfectly acceptable? Somewhere in between? Thanks for the help!
Answer: So the short answer is, no it wouldn't be acceptable. When a person swears themselves to the gods, it's putting that above any other ties they have, with regard to fealties especially. So they cannot officially also serve a noble family or any other organization that isn't the Faith, whether there is an explicit conflict of interest or not. Since the mere act of serving things other than the Faith -is- an inherent conflict of interest.
