Comments and Log

The hour comes for the War Council meeting pertaining to the assault on the forces of the Dune Emperor at Eurus. This day has been a long time in coming for many Eurusi, and there are several generals of the Eurusi forces here that Fatima was able to recruit as well. Fatima is wearing her leathers and a tricorn hat, standing before a map table in her cabin aboard the Desert Queen, looking radiant with majestic purpose. She has one hand resting on her hip near the Coballt stiletto she always carries with her, and her other hand is lifted to her lips absently in thought as she gazes down at the map. Once people begin to arrive, however, she lifts her gaze, studying the faces of those who choose to come with her, or advise and collaborate.

"So," she says briskly. "The day has finally come to contend with the threat of Obsidian and the Dune Emperor. We have little time, so I will try to keep this brief," she goes on. "Please, make yourselves comfortable." There are places to sit, and refreshments, and of course, plenty to drink. The ship gently sways underfoot, as it floats, anchored still in the Bay of Thrax.

Once everyone has settled in, she begins. "So, here is my plan thus far: One, I may have a means to get us past Leviathan. No, I'm not going to tell you the details. It's better that you don't know." She glances around, her expression resolute. "Two: Once we reach Eurus (if we reach Eurus) I will aim to land at Petrioch." She points to a place on the map, a very crude sketch of a map, likely assembled from information gleaned from the various Eurusi refugees. "Take Petrioch, assimilate the Petriochans into the army once I have claimed my crown and rallied them to me. Three: Take a smaller force (maybe with spidersilk sails, or Victus' flying ship, or dragons?) and strike directly for Pyre to join Calithex, the Warrior of the Dawn and the Adept of the Rose in assaulting Obsidian, and attempt to save the remaining Seals." She draws a deep breath, then lets it out. "Meanwhile, the bulk of the army will continue to liberate the Dune Kingdoms behind us at a slower pace, as they move to join us. I hope to have them flank the forces of the Dune Emperor aiding Obsidian from behind. Battle Obsidian. Battle the Dune Emperor. Win."

She glances around, then finishes, "Return Pyrite to Arvu, where he maybe needs to do something about his Eater of Stories." She lifts a glass of rum and takes a sip, then glances around again. "Any thoughts, advice, or suggestions on how to improve on this very rough plan? Is there anything I'm missing?"

Titania has joined the an alcove draped in colorful silks.

As an afterthought, Fatima also adds, "Oh, and we'll need some sneaky types maybe to rescue the hostages of the royal families held by the Dune Emperor to keep them compliant." She nods firmly. "Forgot about that one."

Pasquale found a seat early on, when people were still gathering, and has been sat sipping on a glass of wine until Fatima says what she has said "Malespero's offer still stands. Our spidersilk sailed caravel can be used to take a small team across to protect Pyrite."

Titania had slipped in with everyone and founds a set, she sits crossing a leg over the other and her hands rest in her lap. She is quiet and listens, she watches those in the room from where she sits.

Watcher is not Eurusi - as far as anyone knows, anyway - but she arrives all the same. She's quiet, and if it weren't for the contained area, she might entirely escape notice. Instead of a seat, she finds a nice wall to hold up, with arms crossed lightly over her chest, and one booted foot planted back against the wall behind her. She's in all browns and grays today, which includes a hood, though she's not trying to hide her face in it.

Drink in hand, Samira has claimed a seat off to the side. Her attention lingers attentively upon Fatima although she offers a nod of respectful recognition to Pasquale when the Malespero speaks up. Lips pursed in thought, she gives the plan a long moment of consideration. "Do we know where the hostages are being kept or will that require further intel?" she asks curiously.

Aleksei is maybe not an expected party. He's also got a look of considerable trepidation being on a ship at all, even when it's docked. (It's /only/ the fact that it's docked keeping his lunch in one place.) He's spotted Watcher, though, and leans up against the patch of wall next to her. Like a less cool version. "How long is the actual trip over there?"

Stojan, a cleverly reserved assistant, 3 Thrax Guards, 1 Ulbran Thug, Sivas, an artsy ostentatious curator, Lady Snow, 1 Thrax Elite Guards, Cato, a stealthy non-descript man arrive, following Denica.

Titus is standing near the doorway, welcoming people that come in as each are important. "The offer from house Malespero is a great boon given to the Eurusi forces, and there is the opportunity from Champion Caspian with his ship too. There are people needing to get to Eurus, and once we land in Petrioch, to connect with those waiting for them hopefully there and be brought back to Arvum in haste before the month's end. This can really speed things up for the forces who will be staying at Arx and give them a better chance on each of their own goals."

A little late, Denica tries to slip into the meeting, in whatever subtle manner she thinks appropriate. There's a bit of blue paint splatter on her left shoulder, a portfolio of pictures clasped to her chest. Ot

A little late, Denica tries to slip into the meeting, in whatever subtle manner she thinks appropriate. There's a bit of blue paint splatter on her left shoulder, a portfolio of pictures clasped to her chest. There's a curious furrow in her eyebrow as she finds a place to sit and catches the tail end of Titus's comment. She will no doubt look for an agenda or any bits of information and refreshment, but she is quite and settles in before she really looks around. Then she offers an easy smile, before she sort of blends into the background so catch up on what's going on.

Watcher gives a slight tip of her head toward Aleksei as he joins her, though her gaze remains focused on those speaking.

Denica has joined the an alcove draped in colorful silks.

Titania tilts her head as she listens, her eyes look to Titus then back to Fatima as she speaks. She watches Denica nodding to her as she joins her.

Fatima glances around, watching the various people to see where they take up spaces in the cabin. She notes Titania's presence, and inclines her head to the Kennex lady, and she inclines her head to Watcher and Aleksei too. Her gaze turns to Pasquale, and she gives him a nod of the head. "It is a generous offer, and one that I will not turn down, Pasquale," she says. "We will need every advantage we can find. A fast ship to take us to Pyre would be most advantagous." She looks to Samira then, and considers. "I do not have specific intel on the whereabouts of the hostages. So that will be the first step for any joining that objective. Intel, then stealth operations to free them if possible. Then again," she says, with a wolfish smile, "we could simply plow through the Dune Kingdoms, and sort the mess out later." The smile fades. "But I'd prefer the save the hostages, if possible."

She looks to Aleksei then, and narrows her eyes thoughtfully. "To be honest, I am not certain. I've received varying stories. Especially since most who have sailed from Arvum to Eurus have rarely returned. And those who have come from Eurus likely had some sort of magical assistance, were really lucky refugees, or went the long way around the Darkwater. So it's really hard to judge, now that the Darkwater is gone."

The Princess looks to Titus, and nods. "If the spidersilk sails can get us there within a month, I would say that is an improvement on the three months I would have otherwise estimated, if we didn't have help." She glances back to Aleksei. "But we will have help." She leaves it at that, her features remaining closed, and resolute.

3 Armed Confessors, Orva, a discreet assistant arrive, following Faye.

Faye is late, though she is here. She gives nods to friends and familiar faces, as she goes to find a seat near Denica. She leans over in the direction of her friend and says quietly (but not that quietly), "I hope I haven't missed the part where it's explained how we kill the Prophet of Sands."

Watcher's frown deepens. "I'm worried that a month won't be fast enough."

Titus nods to Watcher's point. "You make an excellent point. The main enemy for everyone right now is /time/. We need to get individuals from Arvum to the east to join with the Spirits and Pyrite, and return them here before a month is up. Caspian's ship is the only solution I know of now that can actually be used, but it will have to recharge every eight hours. It might also need that help you can give, your highness." he says the last part to Fatima. "So it can cross unhindered by Leviathan. We could use that ship and the Malespero to put in an advance team to begin intelligence gathering and more opportunity of success to your strategy of taking Petrioch. The main fleet heading to Petrioch will not know whether Azazel was stopped or not until we reach Petrioch."

Fatima checks willpower at hard. Fatima marginally fails.

Fatima looks to Faye, and gives her a nod of recognition. "Inquisitor," she says politely. "We haven't gotten to that topic yet, nor the matter of Alaric III, the Dune Emperor. We are still discussing the problem of travel." She glances to Watcher, and nods to the hooded woman. "I understand your worry," she says. "However, I /may/ be able to get us there faster than a month, if my plan works." She glances down a moment, frowning at her map, and the wide gap of open sea between Arvum and the western coast of Eurus, with its vague spots that might or might not be Brightshore or the Isle of Echoes and their general locations. But those are the long way around, and no longer needed. "Leviathan is here," she says, indicating all of the sea. "The Darkwater is no more, and it is free of its chains. I have known for years that the great Maw of the Sea would either be an obstacle, or an ally." She glances up, her pale green eyes flashing briefly with a hint of fervent hunger, and the aura of dark majesty around her becomes more palpable. "Leviathan has no wish to be eaten. It will aid us in our crossing." She seems certain of that, her features remaining steady as she glances around, her sea green eyes seeming even more brilliant than usual.

Pasquale says "I can't promise the ship for anything but getting a team to Pyrite. There are a number of things we would like to do with it."

Aleksei glances aside at Watcher, and there's a grim set to his features that agrees. "Anyone asked Victus about his airship?" he wonders. And then, a moment later, he adds, "Or I'll just ask him, actually. I rode with him on it down to the Saffron Chain for the battles there." He listens quietly to Fatima as she explains, and there's a certain -- not at all surprise. A grim resignation to their reality.

"My priority is Aldwin," he says simply. "He's a good friend, and I'll at least be a face he can trust. I mean to bring him home."

Pasquale nods to Aleksei. "We should use the fastest method available to us."

Watcher is quiet a moment longer after Aleksei speaks, but then she speaks up again herself. "It's also looking increasingly likely there may be a group that needs to get to Nefer'khat, and possibly even faster. The ocean has never been so damn annoying."

Faye listens, trying to catch up with the flow of the discussion, first to Titus and then Fatima. "Someone told me the Leviathan had been consumed by the Eater. Some of you would know better than I would if that's true, or not. Maybe just a confusion of rumors and the Darkwater being dispelled." She looks curiously at Aleksei as he mentions Victus's ship. "How many people does the airship hold? Not armies, I assume."

Titania jaw tightens as she watches Fatima and listens to her words, her eyes bounce from one person to the next. "I do have a idea, I do not know if it will be successful but it could be something to help bring a group over the sea's quickly." she looks to the group. "If they can be reached that is."

Fatima listens as people speak up about the ship options, nodding to Pasquale and to Aleksei. "I believe Princess Sorrel was going to ask Victus about the airshipl, but I am not sure if she meant for aid here in Arvum. She mentioned possibly using it to scout over Arvum from above to determine how far out the Shards are from reaching Arx. So it may not be an option, to use the airship," she tells Aleksei regretfully. "But I'll leave that to you, Victus and Sorrel to sort out." She glances at Titus and asks, "What is this about Caspian's ship?" she asks him, before looking them to Watcher, and then to Faye. To Watcher, she says, "Can you give me a rough idea of where Nefer'khat is on this map? I have no idea where it is," she admits. She looks back to Faye then, and shakes her head. "Leviathan has not been consumed. The Eater is bound to Arvum for now, and holds no sway over the open sea. The Darkwater is gone, however. That was not due to the Eater." She looks to Titania then, and nods to her. "What is your idea, Titania?" she asks, picking up her glass again for another drink of rum.

Looking up she says on the matter of the ship, "I believe that Victus is the only person that can steer the ship, so he will need to go with it. There's a couple other caveats I believe, too. There were other people asking about it, so I put in the question if it's available for the greatest need. So, they are looking into that possibility," Denica offers up.

Fatima nods to Denica. "Thank you, Denica," she says with a brief smile. It lights up her whole face with warmth for her cousin, before she turns her attention back to the proceedings.

Pasquale says "The archduchess made a number of sails. Malespero doesn't own the only caravel graced with them." he looks to Titus. "But I believe that whatever ship Caspian has access to is something else."

Titus nods to Watcher again as he's scribing some notes. Aleksei is given a nod, such an awesome idea he mutters. "Caspian's ship is a marvel, he would need to describe it himself. Caspian's ship will have a problem covering all that distance of open ocean even if it is that fast. Perhaps your highness or you" as he looks to Fatima and Titania, "Could help directly in that? Maybe Leviathan of Mangata or both might be open to providing....a landing spot...of sorts so the Nightstar could take the shortest route to Nefer'khat and back. That at least helps the issue of getting first children to Arvum. But Pyrite too needs to be collected and brought back, correct lord Pasquale? Where is he, or could he meet the Nightstar somewhere predetermined or does he need forces to collect him? This of course is discussions on helping Arvum within the month, while the main Eurus forces of her highness are enroute to Petrioch."

Pasquale says "All I know is that aid was requested for helping to protect Pyrite and that the forces of Calithex are moving to help him and distract Obsidian. I have no connection to any of it that I can use personally. My talent is in managing fleets and armies."

Watcher responds with a rough laugh. "Maybe? ...Mm. I should have dug for maps before this meeting." She steps forward, to point out the very potential spot. "South of Eurus, somewhere...here?" She prods the map. "From my understanding, the problem would be less finding it, and more finding where on it they'd want to go. Like Eurus, Nefer'khat is the name of the continent. It's enormous, the biggest one there is, or, at least, that's what I was told."

Titania looks to Fatima, "The Marin'Alfar had Dolphins, Pods, no clans there were once I believe four of them. If I could call on at least two of the pods they can help guide a ship and not have to worry about winds." she looks to Titus again, "Mangata may be able to provide help."

Pasquale notes "Someone with air magic might be useful if we go with a ship as well. That way we can guarantee fair winds."

Fatima looks to Pasquale and nods thoughtfully. "I shall have to ask her if perhaps she might have any additional sails. If we can hoist them upon the masts of the Desert Queen, that would be ideal. Then we could use one of the other ships with such sails, to sail to Nefer'khat." She looks to Titus then sharply as he mentions the Nightstar, and she lifts a perfectly elegant dark eyebrow. "The Nightstar? Interesting," she murmurs. "I do not know, honestly, how much power I can expend on creating landing spots for flying vessels," she admits. "I will need to throw all of my strength into ensuring that we sail as quickly to Eurus as possible." She's talking like maybe she's a mage or invoker or something. Neat.

She looks to Titus again, and adds, "Pyrite is in Pyre, and the Seals are in grave danger. That is why we must strike for Pyre as quickly as possible, by the fastest means possible, to join Calithex. It is our greatest priority. Even over my throne. But I do wish to land in Petrioch first, and ensure that the army is able to flank that of the Dune Emperor. And once in Petrioch, a smaller force to go to Pyre." She looks to Aleksei. "To save Aldwin. And bring him home." She looks to Watcher then, and then down at the map as the hooded woman points. She narrows her eyes thoughtfully, then glances to Titania as she explains about dolphins and Mangata. "Perhaps," she murmurs. "It may be one instance where Mangata and her Reflection must work in tandem. Do you think it it is possible?" she asks Titania.

Aleksei gnaws at his bottom lip a bit, listening to the back and forth. And then he pauses with a sudden thought. "The Nox have ways of traveling quickly," he suddenly recalls. "I'm not sure if it's for /anywhere/, and I don't know that they'd take anybody. But I'll look into that, too. Write Tyrval about it. After all, Calithex must have had a way to get an army over there, and they can't exactly sail openly during the day." He scratches fingers along his beard, clearly working it over.

"Any ideas on how some may specifically get to Nefer'khat?" Fatima asks, glancing around. "It seems like it could be possible, once we reach Eurus, to sail south from the souternmost tip of the continent."

Pasquale says "I dont believe we can move an entire army into place quickly enough to get them there before going to aid Pyrite. I think we have to consider these two different efforts. First a team to aid Pyrite. Then the war."

Fatima nods to Aleksei, a brief fond smile at the mention of Tyrval for whatever reason. She says something in a language to Aleksei, and then turns her attention back to the others. She considers Pasquale's words thoughtfully and nods. "You may be right," she admits. "Though I admit, I wouldn't mind personally sending Obsidian back to the dust from which he came," she says fiercely.

Fatima says in Nox'alfar, "Please give Prince Tyrval my regards, Aleksei."

Faye looks thoughtful and gives a nod to Aleksei. "When my father traveled to Eurus years ago, the Nox loaned him something called a Spider Ship. It carried him safely across the Darkwater and over the Leviathan, and it must have been fast. I wonder how many of those there are." You know, if you want to travel on a giant spider or whatever it is.

"Your plan is still solid." Pasquale tells Fatima. "We just need to consider the team sent after taking Petrioch one to support the group that is already there." He looks to Faye and says "I believe the spidersilk sails Jaenelle made were inspired by the spider ships."

Titania nods looking to Aleksei, "The Marin'alfar did as well, but they are gone now." she looks to Fatima, there is a long moment of silence as the womans words echo in her head, "In this time of need, I think anything is possible." she breaths deeply and can't believe she is saying it. "I think if he is working on our side Mangata just maybe okay with it. " she runs her fingers through her hair.

Pasquale adds to what he said "I expect they are faster, if they have any available."

Aleksei looks like he'd very much love to have never heard the phrase 'spider ship'. Like his life would have been about five billion times better to not know this exists. "Well," he says after a long moment. "We'll -- see. I guess. That might be what Calithex took, if that's a...thing." Please no. Please do not let the spider ship be a thing.

He forces a smile for Fatima. It's not personal. It's the thoughts of the spider ship in his brain.

Titus says to Faye and Aleksei "Please both of you ask your Nox'alfar contacts and see what travel options there could be so that the Eurus forces can support the Arvum Dilemma and let her highness know of your results. Time is our greatest enemy right now, the clock winds down to the midnight hour. If we can have somehow Mangata and Leviathan assist just this time against Azazel it would be a strategic miracle." he says to Fatima and Titania. "And Aleksei asking highlord Victus about the airship. Caspian's ship or Victus's ship seem the best option for a combined rescue of Pyrite and the binding of beings to make an expeditious retreat to Arvum before Azazel reaches Arx."

"Meanwhile, the main forces will set sail to Petrioch to make landing and begin our march to Pyre to join the forces there against the Great Sleeper and the great prophet."

Watcher sighs with faint exasperation, though it's clearly not directed at Fatima. "*If* a group needs to get to Nefer'khat," maybe it's directed at the 'if', "they might need to get there faster than Pyre, and faster than Azazel can reach Arx. Which, as I think it might be the furthest from us, is a little damn stress inducing. Either way, I don't think stopping at Petrioch will work for them. We somehow need to people to Pyre *and* somewhere in Nefer'khat at roughly the same time. Maybe."

Pasquale asks Watcher. "Why would they travel the same way? Surely the fastest option needs to go to the Nefer'khat and the second fastest to Pyre? They aren't part of the same plan."

Watcher shakes her head. "Sorry, I didn't mean that the same group should stop in Nefer'khat first. Two different ones, in two entirely different directions, at either the same time or close enough."

Fatima remains standing before the map table, studying the spot where Watcher pointed to Eurus, and then the presumed place where Nefer'khat might be. "I think we may need to split our focus," she says after a moment. She looks to Faye as the Inquisitor mentions spider ships, and her eyes widen at the very idea of it. "Spider Ships?" she says, sounding amazed. "The Nox'alfar never cease to impress me with their ingenuity." She nods as Titus speaks, agreeing with much of what he says. "A ship like that would be very useful, for those who don't have fear of spiders, I suppose," she says with a dark, throaty chuckle. She glances at Titania then, her expression closed, and unreadable. Bue she gives Titania a nod of the head. "If you would like to come with us, Titania. We could certainly use whatever aid Mangata could provide. This is more than a struggle between a reflection and a goddess. This is about the survival of the Dream itself."

She turns then to look at Watcher, and a little frown touches her lips as she thinks about this. "I do not wish to split my forces. It sounds to me like we need a fast way to allow the Primordia from Nefer'khat to get to Arvum. To do that, they need a bond of some sort with someone from Arvum. I think Mirk had some pretty good ideas in the meeting yesterday," she adds to Watcher. "You might want to speak with him. I don't think it will be possible to get to Nefer'khat in time via ship, or even airship, it sounds like. But I do think Mirk had a very good idea. Something about tying a sacred place or something here in Arvum to the Old Gods, or something. I don't remember exactly, because my brain is stuffed full of plans for Eurus," she says apologetically.

'Spider ship'. Samira mouths the words, brows arched and expression perplexed as she tries to envision such a thing. Her attention is quick to return to the discussion at hand, though, and she follows each thread of thought with a pensive frown. She's clearly mulling things over in her mind but remains silent for now, contemplative.

At some point princess Denica heard 'spider ship' and now she's sketching what she thinks this might look like. Paying acute attention to the meeting of course, but she is also drawing now.

"Mn." Watcher glares narrowly at the map before she steps back and out of the way. "At the least, they don't need an army, just transportation. Getting an army *back*, on the other hand..." She waves her hand. "Different problem. Who even knows if the Primordia need actual transportation, or if they can't provide it themselves once they can get here." There's a nod from her at mention of Mirk. "I'll send him a note."

Faye looks at Fatima thoughtfully. "Mirk has such good ideas. And that reminds me of those bridges in Whitepeak that were said to go to Jadairal, Weijin, all sorts of places. They're all destroyed now, well, all except the small one. It's a shame we don't have access to that sort of magic."

Titus is writing notes. But he says to Faye as he's writing, "I'm very sure the Nox'alfar have artificers, and there is a few here in Arx that may want to help. The problem is getting past Azazel's forces to get to Whitepeak I was told the other day. Makes sense. But a few might be able to slip through, see if a bridge could be repaired in time to open for just a really short period to let some or something through. But if I was on Azazel's war council, I'd keep an eye there and just let you do all the work and then use it."

Titus blinks the red eyes, "Which I'm -not-." as if maybe he needs to say those words aloud to the room, or himself.

Titania breaths deeply, "I was suppose to stay here to help, I can perhaps aid from here I can call on the goddess." she says watching Fatima, "I fear if I leave the city I will not get back in time to help keep it safe." it is a valid concern but also she knows they need help. She looks to Fatima, "Give me a day or so to think on it, but in the mean time Dolphins?" she give a small smile.

"The one working bridge is in Arx and goes to Whitepeak," Faye says, eyes fixed on Titus as he writes notes. "It is true no one's tried to open it from this side. On the other side, it only would stay open about five minutes and then would have to be recharged. At the time we found it, there was no practical way to apply magic like that. Now, though?"

Watcher shakes her head. "I'm not sure anything is left in Whitepeak. The Horned God was having it devoured for primum. I'd imagine even the broken bridges would be drained dry, he had all the time he wanted to do it, and all the reason to take everything he could. Hardly worth chasing trinkets around if you've still got a magical city to sap."

Watcher adds, "and he was chasing *every* trinket."

Fatima is silent for a long time, her green eyes flitting from person to person as ideas are tossed around. She nods to Watcher, then focuses on Titania a moment and nods. "If you think the dolphins will be of help, then by all means, call on them, or whatever you do," she says with a faint smile. "Every little bit of help we can get, we should use." She looks to Faye then, and considers a little bit. "Where is Whitepeak, exactly? And how would a bridge from Arx to Whitepeak help us, other than as a model of how to construct new ones? We may not have time for that, either. Most people are just learning about their powers, and it's still very dangerous to experiment with magic." She glances to Watcher as the hooded woman explains about the likelihood of anything being left, and nods.

Fatima clears her throat, and adds, "I think we are getting off track, however. This meeting is about how to deal with matters in Eurus." She glances around. "Does anyone have any other ideas on how we might quickly get a focused team to Pyre?"

Faye hums thoughtfully at Watcher's words and nods. "This last bridge was hidden in the basement of an administration building. Quite boring, unless he was eating ever brick. And I remember worrying that maybe he would find it, and sneak into the House of Questions in the middle of the night. One thing we might do is use the one we have as a model to create another. Unless you think that would take far more time than we have." But she nods to Fatima's request that we get back on topic.

Pasquale says "It is worth adding to the list of possible projects Faye. I would find out if it is possible, and how much time it might take, and then work out if it is worth pursuing after."

Watcher grimaces. "Yes, every brick might well be what he was doing. Apparently there was an endless swarm of insects doing exactly that." A nod toward Fatima, "But, yes, too much time, I'd think, and we're well off track now." She returns to her spot on the wall next to Aleksei, as there's no more need from her for vague gesturing on the map.

Titus reads his notes aloud.

"Journey from Arvum to Eurus, led by Fatima. Her highness Fatima and lady Titania to meet together to explore a way of bringing opposing forces together against a great threat. The main forces to set sail together immediately at an appointed time after the working, to create a beachhead at Petrioch. I have Aleksei to talk with Victus and the Nox'alfar about his airship and the elvish ways to fast travel. Faye to look into the spider ships. Pasquale offers a faster set of ships and sails for our forces to set up a vanguard."

"Assistance to retrieve Pyrite in Pyre and the First Children in Nefer'khat, led by either Aleksei and Victus, and Caspian. These are two distinct places separated by vast distances. Aleksei to ask Victus about his airship to go to one of them, and I'll ask Caspian to go to the other. This is an indirect assistance from the Eurus forces to the Arvum forces, and we need to get Pyrite and the Nefer'khat to Arx before the month's end when Azazel appears."

"Liberation of Petrioch, led by Fatima. Fatima's forces will land and after siege and invasion, will liberate the kingdom and begin assimilation of the Patriarch free persons. She will be supported by her war council that will accompany her."

"Pyre Support, not let yet. A small portion of Fatima's Eurus force will break off and immediately march to Pyre to join forces with Calithex, the Warrior of the Dawn and the Adept of the Rose to fight against the great Obsidian and stop the awakening of the Great Sleeper."

"Liberation of the Dune Kingdoms, led by Fatima. Fatima's main forces will sweep through the Dune Kingdoms and liberate them in war against the Dune Emperor and with a goal that her forces will join at Pyre later."

Pasquale lifts an eyebrow at Titus. "You have rather expanded what I offered. I offered one ship for the specific task of getting a seperate team to Pyre Titus. I only have access to one ship and I am certainly not going to give away the sails without a very strong reason."

Titus nods to Pasquale, editing. Line drawn through words, new words written to reflect.

"From what everyone has said I dont think you need the ship?" Pasquale looks around here "If that is the case do let me know. There is at least one other project that can use it."

Fatima looks to Faye, and adds, "I can take a quick look at it, and see if my mage sight will tell me anything useful, if you would like company in examining the bridge before we leave for Eurus," she offers. "I'm still unsure of the limitations of my magic, but I can at least try." She leaves the topic of the sky bridges to the side for now, and turns her focus to Titus as he starts to list off the various items. "I do not like excluding myself from the direct conflict with Obsidian," she says firmly. "I will find a way to be a part of that particular showdown. He has hunted me, my family, and my friends for far too long. Vengeance is my duty to my people," she says firmly. She looks to Pasquale then with a small smile. "Let us hold it in reserve for now. I think that we should allow Aleksei to contact Victus, and Tyrval, to see if these fast ships or other fast mode of transportation will be possible. We can also contact Caspian. Meanwhile, Faye and I can look at the bridge situation, and our hooded friend," she says with a nod to Watcher, "can contact Lord Mirk to see if he can expand on his ideas of creating a different sort of bridge between the Primordia and Arvum." She draws a breath then, and glances around. "I do urge you to your tasks quickly, however," she says, with a glance around. "We set sail as soon as we have a solution to the problem of distance and time. If we do not have a solution within three days, I will command the fleet to set sail, regardless, will continue to rely on my pact with the reflection of Mangata to see us to Eurus." She lifts her chin at this. By now, the hints and clues have probably been enough. "Does anyone have any final comments or questions?" she asks.

Faye listens and nods agreement with Fatima, though she is still frowning in thought. It seems like there is a lot of looking to do, and no obvious answers yet.

"or pass it along," Watcher says, of what's directed her way. "Unfortunately, or fortunately, I've more local issues to personally worry over. Just one last thing, though," she leans up off of the wall, just enough to be standing straight. "Azazel clearly intends to be here by the time Pyrite is dead. Potential visions or other things aside, that'll be at least a little bit of a timeline for how fast you need to move. The Compact's forces might delay what's coming a little bit, but battle in Pyre has already been joined."

Titus waits to see if there are any further ideas, suggestions or corrections. Watcher's words? They get written down. He says "You all have tasks, please work on them and report to her highness Fatima when you have an update before we sail in three days. If you've ever been lax at recording your life and thoughts in journals and the power of confession, now is a good time to start recording everything. You might die, this is true, but your words you write can live on for others to find. There is power in words, in memory. It shapes how people think and in shaping thoughts you have the ability to shape the Dream itself. May those memories that keep you focused and fighting for a future you'll never see be strong in those moments you start second-guessing. You've one life, live it....well."

Fatima glances to Watcher and nods at her urgent message. "Any time we have is precious," she agrees. "Perhaps something new will happen or occur to any one of us over the next few days while we examine our options." She looks to Pasquale then, and asks, "Do you think you could reach out to Archduchess Jaenelle, to see if she has any additional spidersilk sails? That would then free your ship up, for that other project if needed."

"She doesn't" Pasquale tells Fatima. "But she gave caravel's to several houses. You could ask for them if they will offer their ships to your cause if you really want more."

Fatima nods to Pasquale and says, "Then we may need your ship. I do not care to take caravels away from other houses that may need them. Do you mind holding the ship in reserve, in case it is needed? I really do not think that it will be needed, however," she says with a glance at Titania, "if we can get Mangata and Leviathan to work together. Wind and wave. Sky and sea. As above, so below," she says softly, "working in unison. It seems fitting." She looks around. "Any other questions, concerns, comments, advice?" she asks, lifting her drink again for another sip.

Watcher turns for the door, slipping out without another word. Presumably, she exits the usual way, but her steps are quiet enough that as soon as she's outside of the room, they're no longer audible.

Alberico, the Malespero aide, 1 Malespero Guard, Louis, a Malespero Armsman, Mar, the Magpie leave, following Pasquale.

Fatima glances around, and as there seem to be no further questions or comments, she nods. "Thank you all for coming then. Let's get to work. Pyrite and the Dream need us to succeed," she says with a flash of a smile. Then she promptly picks up her drink, and wanders over to the curtained alcove, settling among the cushions.
