(OOC)The scene set/room mood is now set to: The inn is bustling with people drinking ...cups of coffee? Oh, wait, someone has a flask. That's better.

Sunaia's not a coffee-drinker - she's somewhere between a tea drinker and a secret flask sipper. Sometimes both. A step into the Hundred Cities calls for a look around, a mild smile, and she heads toward a table for the time being until she can make a decision.

"It was interesting," floats a voice from the back of the inn, from a corner heavy with Velenosa-styled men and women. "But unfortunately the ramifications have been--" The words are lost but, after a moment, a ripple of half-snorts of laughter twists its way through the Lycene knot in that back corner. And then, again, but louder: an actual laugh. A few men and women peel away with snarky looks on their faces. In so doing, they reveal who is back there: Oh heyyyyy, it's Saoirse Velenosa!

1 Malespero guard, Alberico, the Malespero aide arrive, following Pasquale.

A genuine laugh? This is - certainly - a new and novel development. Sunaia glances up, cocks her head, glances around -- and there we are. Pale eyes widen at the Princess (because alliteration) and the Ashford lady's smile quirks a little wider. A hand lifts and she wiggles a wave toward her. "Hello, stranger. Actual stranger -- but you have a circlet on. So, a royal stranger." A beat. "Or is that a tiara?"

Saoirse flits a hand to her head and lightly touches the tiara as though she had forgotten it was even there. "Oh," Saoirse says after a second of reflection. "Yes." That's not an answer. "I would say you must be Lycene yourself," her blue gaze flashes to Sunaia's embroidered foxes, "but I don't think you are." A coffee appears, just appears!, at Sunaia's side and the implication seems to usher her into whatever seat is near enough to talk to Saoirse.

Pasquale arrives without fanfare and after pausing to look around the space he makes his way over towards Saoirse. "Its been a while since I've seen you out and about Princess." When he notices Sunaia's here as well he gives her a slightly wry, but warm, smile. "Hello Sunaia."

"No - I just like foxes. Also, that's my reasoning for showing up to the Silken Symphony after the majority was likely sold. Still, when someone likes a well-fitted coat, they do not complain." She'll scoop up the coffee - because it was given to her and she's not going to be rude, moving from one table to another in order to better keep up with a conversation. "Sunaia Ashford. Definitely not Lycene - unless it's for a valid political match in the future. I guess." Then, she glances up, lips twitching. "Lord Pasquale, how do you do?"

"Yes," Saoirse confesses to Pasquale. "I'm afraid I was a little lost after the elevation. There was much to ...consider." She smiles slightly and downs her coffee. Ew. Downs it?

Pasquale nods at Saoirse's answer "There was a lot to decide but I'm rather happy that Malespero took the path it did." he gives Sunaia another smile. "I'm well." he takes up a coffee himself. "You've been shopping?"

"Just a couple of things, my lord, and only those that I was able to afford. Because green - and also, because of foxes." Sunaia responds with a casual shrug. She glances down at her coffee, shrugs again, and she politely offers the mug to Pasquale. "Promise. I didn't sip from it."

Kiera walk in to another inn for the first time and sees her cousin Sunaia and trotd over. "How's the tea here?" I was warned off the tea the ebb and flow

Pasquale says, "And here I thought you favored black and silver." Pasquale says to Sunaia before taking the offered mug with a question in his eyes. "You don't like it?" That cup is raised slightly at Kiera's question. "It seems today is a coffee day.""

"Haven't tried it yet, cousin, although if you want to avoid it - and the coffee altogether, we can split a bottle of Lenosian red." Sunaia offers Kiera with a bright-eyed, thin-lipped smile. Then, over at Pasquale. "Too hot. Also, you're right. I usually favor black. But, there are other colors in my wardrobe -- if you can believe it, my lord."

Kiera hms "I'll try the cofee I suppose" She turns to introduce herself to Pasquale "Kiera Wyr...er I mean Wyvernheart going to take a bit to get used to the name change

"Pasquale" Pasquale replies to the introduction. "Pasquale Malespero. Wyvernheart? Are congratulations in order?" He glances to Sunaia "Try some Nilanzan wine, or better something from Raconteur enterprises." a little smile. "You'll thank me." For a moment he looks at the too-hot coffee he got given before taking the step or two required to begin loading it up with sizeable quantities of both cream and honey. "How many other colours?" he asks idly. "More than three?"
