Dolente, a mourning dove, Dolce, a collared dove arrive, following Cesare.

(OOC)The scene set/room mood is now set to: r
The event is not a murder event! Yet. Maybe. One never really knows.

There are various targets set up throughout the room. Some on walls like the average dart board. There are some hanging from the ceiling. Then there is THE ONE. Yeah, the BIG ONE. The one that has restraints on it and looks human sized. It might even spin if released from the bottom.

The bar top has various drinks as it seems it's an open bar with all drinks paid for. There's probably a 'totally not haze, but is completely haze' area too. There are also darts and various daggers laid out for people to try their hand at drinking and throwing. Surely, none of this could be bad.

Ian has been here, sitting at the shadowed table with a glass of whiskey, watching with detached maybe-interest while everyone gets set up. It's not clear if he's here to get drunk and murder or if he's just here getting drunk and about to discover that there is murder happening.

Noah is here because, he's suppose to be. Also, like batman if you put up the haze sign; Noah will appear. He's talking to a few people and has a glass of wine in his hand. Really, poor Jordan, is doing all the work. He's the one making sure that things are just right. Also, he's thinking about making the first liability waiver about daggers and throwing.

Cesare is totally not the kind of person you would expect to see at this event. And yet: Here he is. Does the man even know how to throw a knife? Maybe he's hoping for a little murder. Maybe he just had a good enough time at the last Velenosa-or-nearly-Velenosa event that he's decided to chance it. Ian has the right idea with whiskey; Cesare gets a glass for himself and rather primly takes a seat somewhere with a good view.

Denica arrives into the familiar Ambassador Salon with Thea proudly on her arm. Wearing an amused smile on her face, she whispers back and forth to the other woman about something. The young Thrax princess is dressed in Mourning Style fashion, with her own particular take, adding some dangerous looking spikes to her gown. As they enter, Denica pauses to look around, her eyes taking everything in, while two thick eyebrows lift upwards and waggle for a moment. "Well, this could be fun and dangerous, which usually means more fun," she decides. Drawing the other woman, Thea, to the bar, she asks, "drink? I feel that drinks will always help when it comes to sharp, pointy objects."

Thea is dressed in something well--completely opposite of Denica. And it shows the new curves she developed after the baby was born. Snorting at something Den says, she grins at her. "Always. And I have months to make up for,"Thea tells her as she follows her to the bar for a drink. "Vodka?"

If she is anything, Jaenelle is supportive! Arriving to the salon, she moves to collect one of the glasses on the bar, though not before speaking with Jordan to make sure there is nothing inside the glass she does not want in the glass. She and Jordan are rather good friends now. "I am here to participate" she announces to Noah, holding her hand out for a dagger to use. One of his, no generic dagger for her.

Ian takes a sip of his drink, and continues to watch from his table, half-hidden in the shadow portion of the place name.

Noah glances around the area and yells towards Ian (because Noah has manners), "Are you going to throw things?" He offers a smirk-smile. "I hear you manage blades and shit pretty good." Cesare is handed a drink if he doesn't have one yet. "Theresa." We all know that's for Thea as he looks at her abdomen and then back up. "Hey, you succeeded in getting out. Congrats." Jaenelle is just looked at as he reaches over to find a spoon and put it in her hand. "I'm worried even giving you this." Then Denica. He hits his hand on the bartop. "You!" He points to her. "You and I are in a disagreement."

The whiskey Cesare is drinking disappears so fast. He gives Jaenelle an approving look with a gleam in his eye, and looks over the selection of daggers as though he knows at all what his criteria are. "I am also here to participate." Finally he seizes on one dagger, indistinguishable from all the rest to anyone except, possibly, him. He hefts its weight. "Where are the targets? Are we really throwing them at each other? And my name is not Theresa."

"Yes, lots of time to make up for, let's get you nice and plastered," she says as they head to the bar and Denica leans over it. "One vodka, one whisky, as much as you can fit into the glass," she tells the bartender before her attention drifts. Seeing Ian, she shoots the man a smile. Another fond expression is offered to Jaenelle, as she lifts a hand up to wave to her cousin and Cesare also gets a warm smile when she catches sight of him. As Noah slams his hands on the bar and makes some sort of announcement, the young Thraxian princess lifts a single eyebrow up. There is a wicked smile that forms on her lips as if delighted by this, "aren't we always?," she asks Noah.

Thea just nods to Noah,"Noel. Of course I did. I mean, nannies are hired for a reason. Maybe you'll see one day,"taking a drink. "So daggers throwing? I get to pick the target?" Seeing Jaenelle, she offers the archduchess a wave. "Are you growing excited? Nervous?" Thea spies Ian as well, grinning slowly.."Lord Ian! How are you? Not injured? Good,"waving to Cesare as well. Something Denica says causes her to nod,"Good."

Jaenelle checks dexterity and small wpn at normal. Botch! Jaenelle fails completely.

"Depends on how impeded my judgement is by the time you start," Ian replies to Noah in the uninflected tone of someone whose judgement doesn't impede easily. He nods to Thea and Denica and takes another sip of his drink. "I don't know why everyone expects me to be hurt all the time," he says to Thea in a dry tone. "It never seems to be me these days." We'll see if that holds up by the end of the night.

Jaenelle takes the spoon, lifting it to check all sides before she takes the handle and flicks it against Noah's forehead. She is bad at this throwing thing, as she keeps hold of the cutlery. "It isn't balanced enough, I think the top is much heavier than the handle and that is never good for a throwing instrument." Thea is given a smile and wave with her other hand, and Denica is motioned to with the spoon, "what did he do now?"

Cesare checks dexterity and small wpn at normal. Cesare fails.

Cesare checks dexterity and performance at normal. Cesare is successful.

Noah gives a slight grin to Ceasar. "I'm perfectly fine if you want to throw it at people. In fact --" His blue eyes slide to the very large human sized target. "We could strap someone in and try. There are various ones to try out with darts and daggers." He indicates the various ones on the walls and hanging. "I am sure that Jordan would be happy to be the person on the wheel." Jordan does not seem to want to be this person. Then he looks at Thea. "I don't think I'll know about caring a baby. I think I'll go take a holiday for nine months when that happens." He gets thunked in the forehead and tries to wrap an arm around Jaenelle and draw her in. If allowed, he presses his lips to her forehead. Ian is glanced over. "He doesn't look to be bleeding out. Unless Poison aims for me. Then she might hit him." Then Denica. "I was told I was trying to steal necklaces? Here I was helping you out and that's what I get?"

Ian doesn't seem to be terribly worried. "I'm good at getting out of the way." He looks towards Thea and Denica for a moment.

Denica checks dexterity and small wpn at normal. Denica is successful.

Cesare is aiming for something. Whatever he's aiming for, however, is largely irrelevant, because the dagger he throws bounces off the wall with a /thunk./ He immediately picks up another dagger and does a very flashy display of MAGIC - Illusions, Michael! Tricks are something a whore does for - making the dagger disappear into gods know where, and finishing with a flourish as though anyone missed him bouncing the first dagger off the wall.

Denica's ink-stained fingers curl around the glass of whisky. It's full enough she needs to lean down a little, so not to spill any on the way. She sucks off the top, before she takes a more healthy gulp of the amber liquid. When Noah says he was trying to steal necklaces she quirks two thick brows. Denica's features form a neutral expression but her eyes flicker with mischief. "How do we know you weren't stealing necklaces?," she asks him point blank. Denica's other hand brushes along an available dagger, glancing at a target. The young woman picks it up, still holding a drink in the other hand, she sips her whisky while she raises her throwing arm and tosses it towards a target with relative ease. "I am not sure what -I- have to do with this, -Noah-," she says with a dramatically innocent look. Denica looks at Thea, "I swear no matter where I go, I'm met with ridiculous accusations. It's like people know me," she says with a laugh.

Taking a large drink first, Thea mentions to Denica,"That's Princess Noel,"heading to take her aim at the dart board. With a practiced hand, she tosses it effortless, watching it land. "Also---Denica is innocent of all--whatever." There's a blink at Jaenelle and the spoon, causing her to laugh more.

Thea has joined the Shadowy Table.

Once Thea joins him at his table, Ian sets down his glass of whiskey and says a couple of words to her. He slips a folded piece of paper out of an inner pocket of his coat and slides it across to her in a way that doesn't look sketchy at all, really.

Noah is overheard praising Cesare: Performance covers a lot. Good show.

Cesare checks dexterity and small wpn at normal. Cesare is successful.

"You do know that the baby comes after the nine months, and you returning then would just suddenly give you a baby to deal with" Jaenelle explains the birds and the bees to her husband as he wraps his arm around her and presses his lips to her forehead. "It is also why Nobility has nannies, dear, to teach them what they need to know while we are doing other things like making sure people aren't stabbed in front of a human sized target." She looks up at Noah after her cousin speaks, head tilting slightly, "I am sure neither of you are innocent, in whatever this is." The spoon is set down on the bar before her attention shifts back to Noah with whatever he says to her more quietly, and she sighs. "Is it hard to aim, Countess Thea? You make it seem so easy. As do you, Whisper Cesare. clearly the first was practice," she grins. Then back to Denica, "I can say without a shadow of a doubt, no necklaces were stolen. I know this for a fact because I was not given any, and that where it would have gone if he had."

"You're too kind, Archduchess," Cesare replies with a bow of his head. The dagger which had mysteriously 'disappeared' slips out of his sleeve, and this time he squints one eye closed - that must be why people do this - and the dagger hits its target as if the first truly was just practice. "I should thank you again for unintentionally introducing me to a new friend at your dinner of the senses, by the way. Lady Saccharin is just lovely. I have enjoyed spending time with her."

From across the room, Ian gives Cesare a faintly suspicious look when he brings up Lady Saccharin. He looks at the door for a moment, like he's expecting her to come barging in because someone said her name.

Noah downs his own drink and flips his dagger across his palm. It's more sleight of hand than dagger skill. "I was innocent for this one. Only this one." He smiles fully at her and then he touches Jaenelle's hair lightly. "Okay." He offers. "So, some practice throws to get the feel of the weight of daggers. The ones on the wall are most eadsy. Then if you choose the others, there are the hanging ones, the swinging ones and then--" He looks back towards where a person could attach.

Thea looks over to Jaenelle and tell her,"I had lessons from Champion Caspian. Then--,"her eyes drift to Noah with a sigh. "I taught Noel what little I knew..It isn't terribly hard,"she offers. "I'd be happy to teach you how to sta--I mean out do your soon to be husband." From the table with Ian, Thea grows curious. "Who is Lady Saccharin?"

Denica watches the display that Cesare puts on with avid interest and when the dagger disappears and then reappears, she blinks a few times. "Oh how clever," she says, rather excited by this. As the second one hits, she offers a 'hoorah', in his direction. Turning her attention towards Jaenelle, she flashes the woman a smile and seems to know she has no hope convincing her of her innocence. Too many years, too much trouble. When Noah says he was innocent, Denica shakes her head. A glance is given to Thea, with appreciation for the other woman's willingness to stand up for her. After all, Thea and Denica would know nothing about trouble. Denica does stop her defence to listen to the rules, this is a game she is keen on, and the young woman polishes off her whisky, she looks at Thea, "need another drink?," she asks, already getting herself more. Denica also seems curious as to who this Lady Saccharin is now, given the comment from Ian. Denica starts looking for another dagger.

Cesare applauds politely for those who succeed in their efforts to strike the targets. "Lady Saccharin is a Nox'alfar I met by chance at the Archduchess's event," he clarifies. "We were partnered together, and she was very kind neither to bite my fingers off nor smear food all over me. I find her very jolly and quite funny! We even danced together at the Oathlands masquerade recently. And she has promised to show me a bat." He is way more excited about the bat than seems reasonable, especially considering he's hefting another knife and aiming it at one of the stationary targets.

Cesare checks dexterity and small wpn at easy. Cesare is successful.

"Met her at the Hall of Heroes," Ian appends to Cesare's explanation. "She's, uh, really cheerful." Because of course he'd be suspicious of cheerful. "She called me watery."

Denica checks dexterity and small wpn at easy. Denica is successful.

Thea checks dexterity and small wpn at easy. Thea is successful.

"That is one of my most favorite parts of those feasts, to be able to set up people up who may not know one another. It gives people a chance to speak to one another, free of judgement or intimidation. To be able to share a moment with another person when on an equal level. She is a sweet woman," Jaenelle concludes. When Thea speaks, there is a grin, "ah Caspian. He taught my son to hold a dagger when he was not old enough to hold a dagger. He even babysat him. He was a good protege, and I do miss him a great deal. Talen taught me to hold a dagger, at least, and showed me which ribs to press one between to do the most damage should I need to." Daggers are fun, apparently. Speaking of bats and her son, "the Nox'alfar gave my son a baby blanket when he was born, and it has bats on it. Not many know what they look like." She shifts to lean against Noah then, "are you going to try to hit something?"

At the mention of Caspian, Denica looks down at her fingers and studies something for a moment. "It's been such a long time since I've heard that name," she murmurs with a softness to her voice, but her attention drifts easily to two things. Bats and daggers. "A bat?," she asks Cesare, "oh that is very exciting." As Ian shows his suspicion for cheerful, she cannot help but laugh. "I mean... she isn't wrong," she muses and then she looks at her dagger and eyes the target. Tossing it while she waits for her next drink, it is met with some level of success and so is the fresh drink.

Thea climbs to her feet near the table. She's totally doing this near the poor Kennex man. Nodding to Denica, she grins,"Of course I do." Thea agrees with Jaenelle as well, telling her,"I always threatened to find him the worse wife. I miss him as well. But wait--,"she pauses as she gets her dagger ready to throw. "What DOES a bat look like?" Taking aim again, she throws her knife at the nearest target. TADA!

Thea drops rattle that is not at all a disguised high steel dagger.

Thea takes rattle that is not at all a disguised high steel dagger.

"She is just lovely," Cesare agrees. "And she's shared with me not only fascinating things about herself and her people, but some very interesting things about myself as well." His expression twists slightly in an expression that is half thought and half-remembrance. "A bat is...well, it's sort of like a mouse with wings, but not. The ears are shaped rather like leaves, and the nose is a little like a leaf as well. And the color was darker than any mouse I've seen. But - it was just a /dream,/ so that could all be entirely inaccurate. Evaristo's stories really get the imagination going!" He takes aim with another dagger.

Cesare checks dexterity and small wpn at normal. Cesare is successful.

Noah hands Jaenelle a dagger and slowly turns to direct her towards the easy target. "You can do this." He offers her one of his own (many) daggers. The sound of metal against metal as his dagger falls to his hand. "I don't know. Luck is just not on my side normally."

Noah checks dexterity and small wpn at easy. Noah is successful.

Thea checks dexterity and small wpn at normal. Thea is successful.

Denica checks dexterity and small wpn at normal. Denica is successful.

Jaenelle checks dexterity and small wpn at easy. Jaenelle is successful.

Denica listens curious as she hears the talk about bats and the description of one, "oh that would be an interesting thing to paint." One track mind. The other track looks for another dagger, and after taking a more serious sip of rum, Denica tosses this one at a target. This is all done after waving down the bartender and demanding vodka for Thea, of course.

Cesare is overheard praising Jaenelle: A mistress of the dagger!

Noah is overheard praising Jaenelle: She does know which end is the pointy end!

Cesare is overheard praising Noah: His ability to give compliments is very slowly advancing from 'downright offensive' to 'occasionally funny!'

Cesare checks dexterity and small wpn at hard. Critical Success! Cesare is spectacularly successful.

Thea checks dexterity and small wpn at hard. Thea fails.

Denica is overheard praising Cesare: The dagger whisperer!

Denica checks dexterity and small wpn at hard. Denica marginally fails.

Jaenelle takes the dagger that she probably gave to Noah as its handed to her. She wiggles her wrist slightly, as if she knows what she is doing. She closes one eye, then the other, and decides that both eyes open is probably the better way to proceed. She takes a deep breath, and flicks her hand forward, curling her fingers so the dagger spins slightly in it's journey to the easier, larger, unmoving target. It sticks, and she turns to grin upward at Noah, "I think its beginner's luck."

Noah is overheard praising Cesare: That's talent - knife to know you.

Thea grins at Denica. "Thank you." As Cesare aims and practically well---he doesn't miss. She takes her dagger, aiming. But something Ian says at the table causes her to snort. Choking laughing. The dagger flies from her hand, going not to the dagger. It's gone AWOL!

Cesare manages to hit one of the hanging targets, probably because he doesn't care at all if he actually hits it, or he's blessed by some god, or something dumb like that. He looks a little surprised that he hit it at all. "Oh, Princess Denica, if you do paint a bat, I would love that so much," he enthuses. "I should show you the amazing painting Samira did for me last night at her art event. It's downright erotic." He snort laughs, picks up another dagger, and chucks it at one of the swinging targets. Which it hits directly in the center. "Oh," he says, blinking. Maybe Cesare should invest in a dagger.

Ian casually leans out of the way of the AWOL dagger. There might be a little glimmer of mischief in his electric blue eyes, even if his expression is deadpan.

Cesare checks dexterity and small wpn at daunting. Cesare fails.

There is a SCREAM. It's blood curdling. Jordan turns around as he realizes the scream is coming from him. He turns his eyes to his backside. He found Thea's dagger. A breath and the man pulls it out and wipes it off. "Sorry about that." He limps it over to Thea with a hand on his new cut.

Perhaps it's the excitement over bats, or the excitement Denica has to talk about art, or maybe the whisky, but her dagger falls a little short of the target, hitting the wall and sliding down it. Luckily no one was hurt though! Looking over at Cesare her brows perk, "I would love to see that painting, especially if it's erotic," she says with a wiggle of her eyebrows. "Samira is incredibly talented," she gushes a bit since the woman isn't here to hear. "I had hoped to come to her event, but when I heard word, I was already caught up in a meeting." Denica looks over at Ian, "you should see the erotic art too Ian, I know that's your favourite kind." When Cesare hits the target, she blinks and claps her hands, which is probably a bad idea with a drink in one.

Noah gives a slight cheer for Jaenelle and hands her a shot. "Well, let's try another one then." He looks towards Jordan and then to Thea and then to Jordan. His blue eyes back to the dagger in Jaenelle's hands. He's clearly having a worry about handing that to her now.

Thea rounds her gold-flecked green eyes. Checking is precious area, she clears her throat. "You're not dead. It's just a flesh wound,"the physician tells him. Right. Yep. Thea eyes Ian for a moment, COMPLETELY blaming him.

Oh no. "Oh no!" Cesare is alarmed by poor Jordan's butt. The bleeding aspect of it, that is. He rushes over and presses a napkin to it, like that's a normal thing to do, and then abruptly realizes he's supposed to be somewhere else. He is also holding a dagger in one hand. Not stabbing Jordan with it. He throws the dagger. It misses. Big surprise. "Oh no," he repeats. "I've got to - I'm so sorry. Archduchess, Prince Noah, it's been a pleasure. Congratulations, to the new mother! Princess Denica - write me! I must have you over sometime! Lord Ian - bring your wife flowers! Goodnight!"

Dolente, a mourning dove, Dolce, a collared dove leave, following Cesare.

Ian does an impressive job of looking like he has no idea what he POSSIBLY could have done wrong. He's just over here having some whiskey. See? "Clearly, you've seen the painting Prince Luca left for me," he says to Denica, his tone deadpan. Pay no attention to the glitter of humor in his eyes. Totally not there.

Noah checks dexterity and small wpn at normal. Noah marginally fails.

"How many naked paintings of princes do you have Ian Kennex?," she asks Ian with a raise of her thick eyebrows. Denica is out of the game, but she's watching and happy to make comments. And drink. Denica drinks.

Thea checks dexterity and small wpn at daunting. Thea fails.

Jaenelle checks charm and manipulation at daunting. Jaenelle fails.

Denica is whispering something back and forth to Thea, and every now and then she giggles and looks at Ian. Innocently.

While Ian is looking all innocent, Thea is busy whisper to Denica. INNOCENTLY, while she keeps on drinking. "That was a great shot, Jaenelle,"Thea mentions, a grin appearing.

"So if I wear a blindfold, would you go stand over there and let me throw this at you?" Jaenelle wonders, eyes looking to Noah as she smiles brilliantly. If she were more serious, she may have had a better chance, but she truly isnt, and her lips curl in the corners as she attempts to keep from smiling, and failing badly. "No, please dont. I dont want Thea to have to keep you from dying before the wedding." The mention of Luca has that smile faultering, but only slightly.

Ian shakes his head to Denica. "No, this is a painting of a princess. Have Zoey take you up to our room sometime, you can see it for yourself. Make sure to comment on it at length." He continues to either make a great show of not realizing that he is being whispered about and giggled at or, more likely, he really hasn't noticed. Hey, look, Thea and Denica look like they're having such a good time! That's good!

Noah misses the target when Jaenelle asks him that. Noah looks at her. Noah looks at the wheel. Noah looks at her. Then he walks to the bar and drinks straight from the bottle. "Let's do it Poison." He will find a blindfold on him to hand to her and then start to walk in front of the human sized target for Jaenelle.

Thea hears Jaenelle. Then Noah. She really looks around the room. "Wait---am I going to have to be like his personal nurse if this fucks up?" Thea really looks at Jaenelle, asking her,"You sure about this? I mean, he may not survive my care." He would...But he'd hate it.

Denica pulls herself away from the whispering only to wink at Ian and then she laughs a little, "yes, I'll be sure to ask your wife to take me to her bedroom," she snorts and drinks more whisky. Denica blinks as she hears the talk between Jaenelle and Noah. A grin forms on her features and she nudges Thea, "oh this is about to get interesting," she murmurs and smiles. "This a great idea," she says, watching Jaenelle with interest.

Ian eyes Noah and Jaenelle. There's a moment where his gaze shifts in a way that's clearly him calculating possible trajectories. After a moment, he scoots his chair about a foot to the right, and then goes back to drinking.

Jaenelle checks charm and performance at daunting. Jaenelle fails.

Jaenelle takes the dagger and watches Noah move towards the larger person sized target. The blindfold is lowered over her eyes and she aims in the direction she ast saw him. Instead of throwing the dagger though, she moves with ease, hips slightly shifting back and forth as she walks. She plans to hand deliver the dagger herself, the best way to obviously bring it without hitting something she would rather not. She all but runs into something, hopefully Noah, as her free hand moves to pat his body, hand lifting to rub across his face, fingers poking all around his features. "Is this you?"

Denica brings her glass to her lips but it's empty, she puts it down on a table and waves a hand at the bartender, giving him a rather dramatic wink. Another drink finds its way into the princess's ink-stain hands, and she turns her attention to watch Jaenelle and Noah. Brows lift as Jaenelle walks the dagger over, she is curious as to what will happen.

Noah took the bottle with him. This might be last his drink. He's going to enjoy it. When Jaenelle takes her position, Noah just accepts his fate as her killing him. He puts his hands out to the side, heart and fleshy parts open. Then Jaenelle starts to walk. His eyes move towards Ian who has shifted just into the perfect place not to get hit. Then to Thea to make sure she's not too intoxicated to realize blood coming out is bad. Finally, to Denica. He is trying to figure out if this is a normal thing. When Jaenelle gets near him and shoves her fingers almost in his eyes. Then his adam's apple, which causes a cough. Then his gut (because she's short). He does reach out before she accidentally castrates him though and drops his voice. "Are you already drunk? This isn't how you throw things. I've ducked from a vase. I know you know how to throw things. Not well, but you throw them."

Noah is overheard praising Thea: She's alright. Also, I might need her to heal me. So all the praises.

Thea probably agrees with Ian, inching away. She is definitely still drinking when Noah looks over at her. "You'll be paying me massively,"she tells him. She watches Jaenelle too, not sure of what to say. Maybe cheering for her. Because it's Noel.

Noah is overheard praising Denica: We might still be in a fight, but well, you make me look like the good guy. That's a skill. Maybe not a good skill, but a skill.

Noah is overheard praising Ian: You are very skilled with your weapon. It cuts deep when you whip it out. You aim. You strike your target. You also know to get the eff out of the way when people pick up daggers that shouldn't.

"I have spent far too much time preparing for a wedding for it to not happen because I threw a dagger at you in a public place and you died," Jaenelle tells him with a smile, the blindfold remaining over her eyes for the moment. She no longer pokes him though, which is a plus for him. "If I wish to kill you, I will have you buried up t your neck, feed you so you survive, and wait for the worms to eat through your flesh so you are able to feel every moment." Again, she beams a smile upward at him and puckers her lips, clearly wishing for a kiss for not murdering him and going through all that effort to plan his dead so well.

Denica is busy drinking, but she is watching and she has a wicked grin on her features. As Jaenelle describes how she might kill Noah, she gets a look of fondness in her eyes. "And that is why you are my favourite cousin...," she murmurs of Janelle, seeming to admire her artistic approach to murder. Denica takes another sip of her whisky and she grins.

Denica is overheard praising Jaenelle: The woman has a true flair for murder!

Ian leans back in his chair and settles into a comfortable slouch while he watches. There's an understated contentment shading the moment of stillness.

Thea finishes off her drink. "I should likely get home while it's safe,"she half jokes. Sorta. "I'm glad that my services weren't needed and I hope you all enjoy the rest of your stabbings.."

Ian lifts his glass to Thea. "I'll see you soon," he says to her.

Noah gives a full on smile as Jaenelle goes on about how she'd kill him. He sets the bottle down and wraps his arm around her waist. "Well if you put it like that." He will kiss her before he offers. "Thank you all for coming and not throwing daggers at my head." He does look pointedly at Jordan's poor wounded rear and then Thea.

As Thea makes mention of leaving, "I'll walk you home," she tells the other woman. Denica has had enough to drink and seems to enjoy the bit of excitement the night has provided.

It was just a flesh a wound!

Noah is overheard praising Jaenelle: If there was to be a death, it would be worthy as long as you were the last vision that I could behold. You were the vision that paused my breath to begin with, it would only be right you were the last one to stop my heart. As long as in this life you still continue to touch the world with your light, my death is but a worthy cause in the scheme of everything you are and everything you don't even realize you are about to do.

Thea has left the Shadowy Table.

Finn the large Northern hunting dog with icy blue eyes, Rocco, the rascally assistant, Strawberry Pupcake, the Graypeak Mountain Dog leave, following Thea.

Jaenelle pulls the blindfold off and grins after the kiss is given. As he speaks further, there is a groan and she lifts her hand to cover his lips, "people are going to think we actually like eachother if you keep saying things like that. Where did that dagger go, I need to stab you in the liver."
