Lita has most definitely been growing into her features these days. She's looking more and more like Drake. Even her demeanor, which is a bit---scary if you ask me. She's almost two can flirt her way out of most anything. I watched her one day with one of Lady Catalana's sons recently and well---I'm sorry. She's going to be a force to reckon with, I have no doubts.

The weather if finally where I'd like it to be. It's been nice as I've been able to get more training done. The children as well, they've been running around loving the sun on their skin. Their complexians are darker, much like my own. I have to fight to bring them inside.

I went to the Assembly scholar. And scholar, I was sitting near this woman who was making a web with her hands, but it was like...slimmy. It was the neatest thing! I wanted to see if she could teach me. I'm not sure if she could, but it was fun.

I went up to the markets today and didn't get either stopped or searched anywhere along the way. I wonder if the Iron Guard and Inquisition are off doing more useful things, having caused chaos for a few weeks.

I had the opportunity to make some cestus for an upcoming event. Nothing too fancy, but a new design that I was pleased with. Hopefully I'll be able to participate in one of these events, but until then the least I feel I can do is support them in a way.

I can't be the only one who isn't looking forward to another Blood Eclipse. While I understand that people relish the grand parties, I can't help but think back to other Eclipses and the unsettling events of those nights.
When people assure you that someone in the mirror is watching you, someone standing in a space which is empty in reality, it can be a little unsettling.

The work of the Shrine begins.
I often find that the Mirrormasks shine in times of trouble. When there is doubt, disquiet, or desperation, we are thrust into a crisis of belief. The Mirrormasks are charged with the sacred duty of Consultation. In these meetings, we listen to the penitent and guide them through their thoughts. Reflection is the act of paying mindful attention to the conflict within us, for we all have conflict in our lives. When this happens, we must bravely face that space for questioning and sit with the discomfort; it is within the crucible of crisis that we refine ourselves.
I am sending some of His most experienced Mirrormasks to Escuma soon. If it please the gods, they will arrive safely and begin ministering to Faithful without delay. The people there have been through a great trauma; innocent souls suffer for the crimes of Oathbreakers. We will be there to serve them and tend to their spiritual wounds.
But the pendulum swings both ways. Those very same Oathbreakers will find fairness and full throated defense within our ranks. We will speak with them; we will represent them without prejudice, for this is the nature of Duality, that the One must not be ignored in favour of the Other. Doubt must be acknowledged, must be given space. We will be there to serve them and tend to their spiritual wounds.
