People keep offering to help and as far over my head as I am, I'd love to accept but I don't even know what to ask for. I don't even know what help could be offered. In the end I just come across sounding like an asshole.

I have a new appreciation for sailing.
This latest sea voyage may not have ended as planned, but I did learn some things about ships. I now have some ideas based on the notations and discoveries made. It wasn't all for naught.

Last night was a dearly needed breath of fresh air. I adore how charitable the people of Avrum are.
Missere Minister Rook's event was such a beautiful example of this. I am so pleased for him and so grateful to those who donated their talents and silver. To know that because of this so many will be helped brings such joy to me I can barely contain it.
The celebration continued well into the night, which I adore. And, when I finally had to take my leave, it was with a warm sense of gratitude and satisfaction. A feeling I delight in.
Praise for Minister Rook and those who assisted with this wonderful show of generosity and success is well deserved.
I am so grateful that so many will be helped from this.

Another trip to the capital has already yielded two trips to two different galleries. The works there are nothing short of evocative, of brilliance. So, too, were some of the other patrons that happened to visit. My oils should be arriving soon and I look forward to putting my brush to canvas in hopes of riding this latest burst of inspiration. The anticipation of doing so rivals the bliss from completion. Now all that remains is prepare the studio once more.

Would you believe I won not one but two contests at a wine games of all thing, a grape stomping contest and a wine bottling contest. i generally don't drink alcohol and nearly didn't but figuied i would stop bbecause Lady Medeia throws spectacular events, money was being given to charity, and family and friends would b in attendance. I suppose others were just as pleasant surprised by my unexpected performance as I because I won crowd favorite for which I was equally shocked and flattered. The experience has renewed my conviction to do things outside of my comfort zone and never miss an opportunity to spend time with family and friends. You never know what life has in store.

I suppose it is commendable, in some manner or another, that he came to face the consequences. The value of a good mentor cannot be adequately calculated. Father Vayne has guided and mentored me since I first arrived in Arx some years ago; he taught me near everything I know as a Mirrormask. He remains a mentor to me. Counselor, confidant, teacher, friend. I am who I am today in no small part due to his influence in my life.

The auction was a rousing success! We raised almost five million silver for the cause, and it truly seemed as if all were together and united for the cause. I will need a vacation to recover from the effort, but it was well worth it, in my opinion. I hope the Physicians find great use for the silver.
