I write this as the Acolyte, Favored of the Thirteenth.
Glory unto the Completed Pantheon, revered by all Faithful. May the Divine Thirteen bless our people, and may we restore the Compact to Faith.
The Invocation humbled even I, and opened my eyes to just how blind I had been. The people are hungry, from High Lords to low born, hungry for hope and Faith, and I am to reflect the Light into the Darkness to guide their way. The Thirteenth has been invoked, and no longer shall he remain outside his place amongst the Pantheon. Blessed be his Name, which we are not worthy to speak.
Through the Strength given to me, by the Triads and the Reflection, I offered blessing, in the sight of the Most Holy, Voice of the Pantheon, illuminated in divine light, amplified by reflections in mirrors. I weep in the memory, for never before have I seen anything so beautiful. Most came forth, proud and reluctant, bold and shy, and all received a blessing, guided from divine inspiriation. May the Invoked lend strength.
It is through Faith, and the Inspiration of the Completed Pantheon that our King may be healed. May Glory be to thee, oh Pantheon of Thirteen, and may the Compact and its people know greatness through you.

Having only spoken to the man via messenger, I didn't recognize Litigator Fidante until he introduced himself in person.
Eloquent, polite, gentile, but not pretentious, which I greatly appreciate. Our conversation was pleasant, I was actually disappointed to see him leave so soon.

Jayus seems to have smited me today. I noticed many tiny flaws in my ship figurines I hadn't noticed before, and my later attempts were only marginally better. I've picked the four best out of the bunch to send to Admiral Alrec; I can only pray they are sufficient for whatever purpose he intends to use them for. I confess they're designed in a uniform manner with only a few differences between each.

Relationship Note on Darren
Another Prince thrust too soon into the role, and the circumstances of Prince Darren's raising grieve me still. When we first met, to my shame, I wasn't certain of him and I let him know it. Since then he has done everything and more to prove to me the weight of his worth both as High Lord and friend. I pray that he might one day forgive me for my early caution. Redrain is safe in his keeping, as it was in his father's; I hold him in high esteem.

Relationship Note on Edain
Prince Edain is a light in this world. Tragedy has led him to his place as it has led me to mine; he provides a constant example for how to shoulder the many burdens that come with responsibility. Too many feel that the strict honor of Valardin make them brittle as iron. In their High Lord, we see that it tempers them as with steel.
I trust him with my life but pray the day never comes when he must be responsible for that trust. He is a friend, and I want only good things for him.

Many have raised their eyebrows at the Prodigal brought into the Grayson fold by Princess Lou. I confess I was one of them. But he has proven himself to be an intelligent and perceptive man, highly attuned to those around him. My respect is not so easily won, my trust even less so, but this fellow has begun to achieve both through his actions.

While having an early evening drink and overseeing, from a comfortable distance, the last few hours in Arx of another crew set to sail in the morning, I met briefly with Lord Victus Thrax. He was taking a short respite from fleet business, and left soon thereafter on other business entirely. We discussed the practice of taking on crew from Arx, among other things, and he suggested one or two other routes to look into procuring more warm bodies from. It could prove to be helpful, so I make note of it here, publicly.

A regal and surprising noble woman who seems to welcome me to House Grayson. She is wary yet seems more than fair unto me thus far. A woman like her makes me wish to prove myself to her that I can be a valuable man, though I be by their standards lowest base born. She took me to a fancy supper at House Velenosa and I hope that I comported myself acceptably, though I was well out of my element.

Lady Calista Fidante, the Rose of Tor. Sister to the Duke Leo Fidante. While undeniably beautiful and alluring, as I've gotten to know her more over the weeks and months, I am even more impressed by her kindness and heart. I feel warm affection for her and know that the sentiment is reciprocated. She is a wonderful woman and I look forward to continuing my friendship with her throughout the years.

It's a genuine surprise that I didn't put two and two together when it was mentioned that a surgeon joined the illustrious ranks of the Champions. Suppose I forgot the name and didn't remember the face, which can happen.
Either way, pleased that the man who probably saved my sense of vanity and several important internal organs, is now in my circle. He's a gifted surgeon, or he was ten years ago or so, and his hands look as steady now as they were then.

Relationship Note on Dawn
While Alaric may be the head of the family, Dawn is the bedrock that supports it all. When we were young we would train together - often with Duke Bisland - and then as now I recognize her strength and resolve. Through difficult times she remains resolute and in better times she shows enormous care and concern for her family. She is an admirable woman, shrewd and sharp, and I am blessed to call her cousin and friend.

I had the opportunity to meet with this man through my inquiry via classifieds. The little research I did on his identity speaks little of the true delight this man is to have in one's company. I hate having to explain myself, especially more than once, so when Anastasio understood my intentions before we even sat to discuss business it was refreshing. I feel priviledge that he is working with me and now my mood good for our future holds a shit ton of silver and fame.

Work has commenced on the Admiral warship with some of the crew moving back to the birthing while the rest remain at the camp on the beach. Mostly the master at arm's men as they have been tasked with sound and security and land play better for that sort of training. I spoke to Lou about waste management and she reiterated what was on my mind, as a result I have authorized the camp to dispose of waste through burning and only when the wind is in our favor as to not pollute the city. Reports have come back favorly. About my other business, I haven't been the most responsible with as I am waiting for my gifts to be completed by another artist, not Enzo, as of today I have not heard from said artist and will request Sir Silas to commence the project and move forward with my meetings. I can not continue to keep this people waiting or fear their lost of interest.

I didn't bother expressing any interest in the guild master position due to already having a job. I put forth Mistress Ida's name because I was familiar with her work and she seemed readily available, but evidently she rejected the offer. A shame!
I know little of Mistress Joscelin outside of her patronage under Lady Dawn; jewelry is not something I shop for very often. But if the passion and interest is there I have no qualms with letting her have the job.
