I have the loveliest wife in all the compact. I do not understand these journals -- why do the Compact gods not listen to the words of our mouths? But I will write my thoughts, and see if I can understand this. So. My wife. She is lovely, and her skin is the softest. I love to kiss her, and she smells pretty, too.

It is completed! I set a goal of personally crafting a set of armor fit for the glory of the Triad of Art and Science. I have succeeded! With Raja Culler's help, I have managed to create something truly special. Now all that is left is the consecration....

I have been offered the chance to create an intriguing weapon born of an intriguing event posed to the citizens of Arx. The theme is one I've never attempted before, which has me ever more excited about the whole thing. It has been some time since I have worked on a commission. It will be nice to have someone else's vision drive the creation and, hopefully, shake the cobwebs off of my brain.

It has felt like a very long time since I have been out and about in the city. I can't blame it all on duties, though those always tend to keep me hidden away in a library or even granary now and then. I left the ledgers and attended the event held by Lord Teague for Lords Orland and Savio. Lord Orland I have come to know recently, so it was wonderful to see him alongside his spouse. Lord Savio seems the perfect compliment and I hope to get to know him better in the near future. It was also wonderful to see Lord Teague up and celebrating.
How different all of their lives may have felt a year or more ago. To see so many gathered to make merry and enjoy each others company was truly a joy, and I think I even made a couple of new friends along the way. An intimate affair that felt larger than life.
