I had someone tell me I don't seem as confident as I look. I really didn't know what to say to that. What does confident look like? Is that a compliment, something I should strive for? Or do I look too confident? Trying to live up to expectations can be confusing sometimes.

Whatever reservations I had against the Prince of the Sanctum, he wished for me to leave them all in the center of the Shrine today so Gloria might judge us both. So I did. I took every little nagging thought I've ever had up to this point and I let it all go. It turned out much better for one of us, but I respect a man who refuses to fall even when all seems lost.

Got the shop stocked. Put the word out that it's stocked...
Who knew that running a shop was so much work? It's endless. I might have to take a break for while so I can actually enjoy myself again. I'm being entirely too productive and not nearly slacking off enough.
Maybe I'll take up some kind of charity project for the lowers to rebuild itself. Ha! Who am I kidding? I like the lowers just how it is. If the silks don't like it, that can stay out.

It has been a interesting time finding myself here in Arx, I have been discovering things out about myself that I did not think was ever in me. I have always had my nose in the books, always under the teachings of my cousins to become a diplomat. I find that slowly I am finding myself and even as scary as it maybe I find it exciting and interesting I am glad that Marquis Ford and Lady Octavia are here with me.

On the subject of First Office Estardes and his noble quest for hobbies, I have a few suggestions to submit to him and Vellichor.
I'm a grand fan of bare-knuckle fisticuffs. I'm out of practice now, but I've been meaning to get back into it. It's a very fine hobby, and the occasional black eye really gives the face character!
I also have a dog now, who I will allow you to walk if you want. He is time-consuming. That's like having a hobby, sort of.

I've started learning how to make weapons. I'm honestly not sure why I haven't before. Given my love of sharp objects. I made a dagger of high quality steel last night, but I didn't care for it so I melted it back down. Perhaps I'll work on a sword next.

Ah, sweet Limerance. I am no politician, no diplomat- and yet I am drawn to such duties, in the interest of peace, of love, and in faithfulness to you and to the people of the Compact. And so I must speak on the matter of House Thrax and the tensions that have arisen of late. I pray to you, sweet Limerance, to grant me strength and wisdom, so that your light may shine upon all of the faithful.
There has been much darkness in the past of House Thrax and its people, it is true- and they have taken actions that the Faith cannot accept or condone, and that is as unescapable a fact as any other. This has led to much resentment, and resentment can cloud and poison the hearts of even the most devout. But I have spoken to some in Thrax, and seen glimpses of their hearts, and I find myself overjoyed and heartened: among them are people who seek redemption, who seek the light, and to move past the horrors of days gone, and towards a future in peace and security for all within the Compact. For as long as this light shines, I will fight to keep it alive, and to let it spread among all the households and lands of House Thrax, and all the Faithful of the Compact.
Note that I do not say we should forget the horrors of the past- they should be remembered, but also risen above. For those who would mock and doubt that House Thrax is taking its first steps into a world of light and enlightenment, I ask: will you move forward, as the proud people of Thrax are already moving, as allies? Open your hearts to them. Choose to see the actions taken, to accept them with an open heart, and be willing to believe in the transformation of so many centuries in the dark into the light of the gods.
