Let me see all the different ways that my plans have not worked recently. I have not gain any new backers in my endeavor. I might have insulted the Vice-Captain of Valorous Few. I was too drunk to get the names of two new backers, and I am searching my room for the notes of the names that Lord Ian gave me. I think he is right about some parts of my plan. I think I am scrapping the offensive aspects, and just stick to the defensive aspects of my plan. Well, I have to go out and hit the grindstone some more today.

Anyone could tell he never wanted to be in the city, and only familial duty kept him here. He was a level head (mostly) in a largely rowdy, randy, and rambunctious crowd of young people. Now he's free. There is not enough alcohol in the world to make this easier.

All of this reincarnation business seems quite normal to me. I'm very glad the Faith is able and willing to explain how all of this sort of thing works now! It was quite confusing before we began to learn more about the Queen.

Prince Tyrval. My ancenstor... alive and poke-able. I didn't poke him, honestly, I wanted to. I envy his hair and his fashion sense.
In truth, I'm glad I had a moment to speak with him and have my voice heard over everyone who flocked around him. It can't be helped, the flocking. He's flock-able. Handsome too, in the way elves are. And he knows so much about the world.
He's given me some justification to the visions I've had and there's nothing now that will keep me back from venturing out of Arx... not if there are promises of understanding at the end of such a journey. I have my answers.
Now, to get a crew organized.

More time passes after the siege and other incidents. Things seem to be getting interesting, in that we don't know what situation there will be next. But at least for a while, it seems things are at least somewhat quiet. Alas, that doesn't make the job of the Guard too much easier, since we must keep working, and so must many others, to keep vigilant.

Our ship returned with hardly any trouble. Although, you could tell that the air was cooler as we docked - it seems that autumn has come to the capital city. Lovely. I was anticipating a change in the season (and in wardrobe) ever since the end of summer. I was looking forward to any sort of changes, speak true. Which, goodness, hearing the most recent circulation of news among the sailors and fisherman - quite a lot has happened.
New perspectives are waiting for us. Opportunities are plentiful for all. Learn to embrace chaos in a way that seems foreign, but acceptable and achievable. Then, you are armed with more confidence as you walk into the next uncomfortable situation. You begin to thrive in new situations because you have proven to yourself that you can, not only handle change, but FLOURISH. I believe that.
