I miss my sisters. I wonder what they are up to? Especially, the younger one. I hope she is not in trouble... Well, who am I kidding? Of course, she is!
I have to save more silver. Just in case. After all, I have three sisters... Even if I am their baby brother, I still have to take place of our father and help them.

I have so many pieces of low quality metal... There is no point selling it, because I would barely get few coins. However, I can not make toys for children out of it. I am worried that they might hurt themselves. Wooden toys are more suitable to kids. Of course, I could make some figurines, but they do not have as much success as I expected.
I hope that Jayus will inspire me soon, because I hate seeing all those piles of low quality metal in the corner of my shop.

My sister can be... utterly confounding. So far, I have been right every time I've tried to convince her of things, yet she -still- balks at my suggestions. It bothers me more than it should, since, obviously I am a fickle, silly thing. I just... wish she'd truly believe I have her best interests in mind. And that I'm much more managable when I get my ways. I love her dearly, and one day, I'll be able to give her peace of mind, truly, and without reservation. For now, I will still try. Try with all my heart. And casually mention she might find my journals interesting.

It occurs to me that Papa has yet to get me my pony. I thought to go to the Hunt that Prince Edain held, but... it seemed a bit much, and only reminded me that I am cross with my father. One should -always- keep their promises to their youngest daughters, lest the wrath break against the walls of the Estate like a maelstrom of the Mourning Isles. A pony is really not that much to ask for, is it? I suppose I'll forgive him eventually. Especially if there are two ponies for me in the deal.

Morrighan
A delightful tailor from the North, with the most quaint accent, she seems eager to expand her network. I've tasked her and Caprice to make something suitable for me, for the impending winters, so that I'm not drowning in shapeless furs. She was rather receptive to the partnership, and my hopes for a new, universal fashion trend increase dramatically.

Fergus
Prince Fergus Redrain is... well, in some ways he is typical of what I think of, when I think of the Savage North. He has little patience for the subtlety of the Game, and has a mind of singular purpose. But there is immense complexity to him, readily evident, despite his claims to be a simple man. His mind intrigues me, both personally, and as an Acolyte. On top of all of that, his gifts are more amusing than they have any right to be. It will take practice to be light on my feet with several pounds of steel and high points at the heels, but the challenge has been laid, and I dare not fail to rise to it. Otherwise he might make good his threat on that dress....

Marcas
Marcas is a dangerous soldier that has seen his share of death and destruction. There is a sadness and anger that rests just beneath the surface, and it is an almost deadly walk one takes when speaking with him. He is interesting though, and always quick to smile and share a joke with me when we meet. I don't know if I make a difference, but I would like to try! He is a good, albeit sometimes smelly, man. Loyal.

Acacia
Acacia is Duke Niccolo's protege. I am not quite sure what this means, but anytime I have been around her she has been an absolute delight! We have plans to steal a ship one day, though i'm not quite sure where we'll go after that. What could go wrong?

Malorie
For a land-loving woman, she sure knows how to show a man of the Mourning Isles a good time. As in she held a hunt a lot of silk-swaddled and heavily armored toilers attended, and I rode a horse for the first time. No comment on her yet.
Aug. 21, 2016, 6:32 a.m.(5/10/1004 AR)
The Mounted boar hunt event was extremely well organized. Princess Malorie seems to have a knack for this sort of thing, able to keep everyone involved and engaged throughout the event. I was the first to flush the boar from hiding, but had much less luck with actually hitting the thing. Boar spears are clearly not my forte. Prince Edain performed the best overall I think, followed by Sir Silas, but it was Princess Deva of the northerners who finally finished the creature off and won herself an impressive trophy for the feat.

Dawn
I had not seen Lady Dawn since she was but ten years old and I am not sure what I was expecting. Perhaps her to be the same impish girl but just larger? Or for her to have become what so many promising young ladies of the court seem to when they grow into adulthood, a mindless socialite. Neither was the case, she has taken to her role as Voice of the King like a fish to water, her quick wit and vivaciousness carry her as well through the troubles of leadership as they do through the sway of a party. It would not be a wise man who tried to take advantage of the King's sleep to contend with Grayson.

Harry's Jewelry and Gifts Shop has admittedly been a favorite of mine. They're affordable and they do excellent custom work; a combination that's certainly hard to pass up. I thought the figurines for the Decathalon were particularly ingenius. But I hadn't truly gotten a chance to meet Master Enzo Siqueiros formally, despite him also being a protege to Duke Niccolo Velenosa and hearing much about the inked, fiery-haired young man.
He was professional, expansively complimentary, and really, quite an unexpected delight to be around. Working together with him for the Aspirations of Alcohol event has been rather fascinating, especially given all that he's capable of. His most recent commission is perfect and I look forward to seeing it on display. I left his shop with a painting for my wall, but little did I know that I'd end up with two soon after. He's a charming surprise, and his devotion to Jayus is rather inspiring in itself. I look forward to collaborating with him in the future.

I have officially began to hoard Master Enzo's paintings and jewelry. As thanks for my consistent patronage, he has gifted me a lovely painting without charge.
I approve.

Silas
I am sure there are a hundred good things which Silas does for the grand city of Arx, protecting it and doing the things he does with wood in that shop. But I think the thing he does the very best is ensuring that dead things are dead with intent and determined focus. Not enough people understand what an endearing and necessary quality this is. It speaks volumes about being able to finish a job and get it done thoroughly! Or at least, it ensures that the pulverized snake won't slither ever again, which is probably just as important if you were almost bit by it.

Deva
Whenever I think about going to kill things recently, I can't help but want to have Princess Deva by my side. She's a very-very wonderous shot with that bow and I think between the two of us, we could eradicate an entire flock of birds even if they sneakily crept out of their dark and cavernous, feather-flitting nests to prey upon the innocent. She's ever so lovely. I think, if I really-really had to throw my Prince Brother at someone with all my heart, I could throw him at her.

Dawn
Lady Dawn is a recent acquaintance, I'm almost ashamed to say. I first corresponded with her when she invited me to a Market Day she was planning, and later when she requested a wardrobe. It ended up being my best piece thus far, and she rewarded me quite handsomely for it.
I got to know her better when we both joined Prince Edain's and Princess Malorie's hunt. She is competitive! And knows how to use a bow, apparently.
She later attended Game Night and befriended Hammar. It was quite the gesture. I have a feeling she may be the ruler a nation can only dream of, but may not necessarily ever get.

Mistress Jessamine is the current manager of the Trader's Tavern, one of my favorite watering holes. She let me host Game Night, and seems open to holding more such events in the future.
She is a bright, sunny girl with a penchant for lighting up the room. Her generosity is noteworthy.

A simple but well-meaning fellow, who beat all of us at the first Game Night and took home the purse. Lady Dawn seems to have made quite the impression on him; I can only hope his renewed self-confidence lasts.
