My sister is getting married. I always assumed this day would come, but I never assumed she would leave our House. This announcement is bittersweet.
But I have never seen her smile, the way she smiles when she speaks of him. She is finally happy, and I would no sooner deny her of that happiness than I would deny myself the ability to breathe.

I had the opportunity to speak to the Black Sheep of the Thrax family. Well actually he might be more of a white sheep.

Things spin ever onward, and though we are mired down by the grief which has paralyzed our hearts and stopped our minds from being able to find solutions, even so the world goes on. The darkness approaches, and like nightfall, it will not be delayed or deterred..we must find the flames with which to drive it back before it arrives.
I don't know the path I should take. I don't know what it is the gods would have of me or what it is that I should do. Each thread that i pull just leaves me with more questions than I had before, each path I follow leads to less understanding rather than more.
I need to find someone who can explain, who understands. But there is no one. And I fear that, there is no way I can find either the strength or knowledge necessary before the time is upon us..

When Caltrops where scattered over the dance floor at the Gala, I crouched to pick them up. I didn't want anyone to get hurt after all.
Of course having the caltrops in hand, sort of made me look gather guilty of spreading them and brought Inquisitor Alistair's attention upon me for a moment. I wouldn't do that someone could get very hurt on the dance floor! That is why I gathered in the first place so that nobody would have bleeding feet.
Luckily, ArchDuke Niccolo caught Princess Deva, keeping her from falling and getting too hurt upon one.
Princess Nimble was able to dart about the Caltrops without stepping on them. He lifted up Princess, Eleyna, keeping her safe as well. Lyceum parties are dangerous!

This line of succession will take effect if I ever abdicate the throne or upon my death. This Will invalidates any other documents of the same or similar nature when it comes to this matter. The line of succession will be as follows:

I've been to a gala, which is a sort of party, in this case to celebrate Archduchess Esera as the Lyceum's mourning's at an end at least for this.
I never did meet the Archduchess. But the gala was properly beautiful and I imagine it was fitting, from what the people there said.
I danced, and in front of a lot of folk, and didn't step on any toes that I know of. I ought to take lessons in dancing, not just the common sort of dancing I'm used to. This kind has got all those steps and tricks to it. I'm not sure there's meant to be caltrops at a dance, but I don't know what's in fashion at the courts of Arvum. I think it was a prank of sorts.

Relationship Note on Arcelia
The Lady Arcelia Saik is a breath of fresh air in our Tower. Vibrant and full of hope, she has already made it her quest to provide succor and ease to those suffering in the Lower. An endeavor I look forward to aiding her in as much as I can. Between the cold season and the Iron Guard stepping down harder on their necks, the poor and needy deserve all the kindness they can be afforded.
I think her presence will also be good for Vomas. Kima and I do all we can but he needs some round him softer than we are.

Whew! What a melee. I really didn't know what to expect, but it sounded fun to get into a mix with so many people at once.
I don't know how many people hit me exactly, I wasn't seeing straight after the fifth hit. I lost of course, but I didn't make it easy for anyone else.
After a kind mercy helped me get, well, moving again, a sweet princess and a weaponsmith sung me lullabies to sleep in the nearby field. What a wonderful day.
I'm supposed to take today off by Sir Silas' order, but I'm already feeling fighting fit again. Who couldn't? That was amazing!
